LOL! Al cracks me up, especially when he gets all stubborn. And I laughed so hard when he suggested that Roy might be gay. Riza might pop him one if that ever happened... So all in all the "talk" didn't go so well. And now I'm feeling bad for both Al and Inu. I don't see Al's plan to take Kagome back to Risembol(sp??) working out and Inu has to deal with WAY too many suitors. All we need are Kouga and Houjo to magically pop up and he can call it a day...poor guy. Btw...Houjo and Al are pretty similar, personality and kinda looks wise. It would've been cool to see you do something similar like what you did with Roy and Uncle Souta. But at the same time Houjo can act like a weenie sometimes...NOTHING like Al when he's in a stubborn mood. However, in persistence? They both get perfect tens. Anyway, keep writing! that's just too cute, unconscious snuggling... lets see if yasha starts with the whole denial of his affections thing. . . won't naraku be much easier to eliminate now he no longer has the jewel? one wonders why envy didn't eat naraku when he had the chance instead of just taking the jewel and leaving; surely he would have sensed all the youkai naraku was made of... maybe naraku would have absorbed him from the inside, talk about heartburn. . . i still think the youki transplant would work just like she could use her reiki to purify youki and mend minor injuries they can infuse their youki to help yasha to regain his... what about laying tessaiga next to him, it has its own youki too plus whatever it absorbed with its 'dragon scale' transformation? (don't worry i'm always doing this with the authors i beta for and they just ignore me or use what they want). o.t.:wonder what kind of power tessaiga would absorb from envy or if the dragon scale transformation would work on him, does he even have youketsu as he is not youkai? . . . sango is 'taijiya' (youkai exterminator), you used every other term but that one. . . one wonders what kind of mess ed is going to make of the whole 'sex' talk with little brother. . . great chapter, i especially liked the snuggly yasha. ~ salutations, ginny

Dude, Yash is so faking it -_- lol. Not that I'm complaining. This chappie was loaded with teh squishy moments. Can't wait till he wakes up, though, so they can go after Envy (one of my favorite FMA characters..though I like him better in the manga). I guess that's IF his youki is replenished. And yes..matters of the heart. Miroku would know a lot about that wouldn't he? Especially since he gropes anything with a heartbeat...poor Sango. Al, too. It must be tough watching Kagome keep vigil over Yash. Oh well...Till next chap! :) ~Amber

it may take a while but his youki will replenish itself... maybe kirara and shippo could project some of their youki around him (a youki transfusion!), nekomata and kitsune youki is youki, right? at least it may help stabilize him until his builds up on its own. so now they know the shards definitely work with alchemy and yasha no longer needs to risk life and limb... oh, he does that all the time (what was i thinking?). poor al, it would never have worked, it's bad enough to be from two separate times but add different dimensions to the mix... . . . wow he KISSED HER HAND!! what is the equivalent of that?! it's very nearly having SEX!! ...for yash. . . great chapter, i'm all high on caffeine and bouncing off the walls, that and i have a tendency to verbosity anyway. Damn it! Equivalent exchange just had to ruin it! I hope Yash doesn't stay like that permanantly...unnnnlleeesss his being like that leads to more squishy moments like that hand-kiss. That was so cute! But I feel bad for Al. He's no quitter, though. As for Ed, I LOLed when Al scolded him. Doesn't Ed know: respect your tallers! Till tommorow's chap! It'll be interesting to see Uncle Souta's reaction to the Sengoku era. He seemed a little shocked in that well scene. Hopefully he doesn't faint...cuz then Kaggie'll NEVER get Yash out of that well! dun dun dun dun! They've been found out! Someone really needs to punch Ikeda-san in the face, though :/ He's really annoying! Him and the japoNazis. I vote Kagome do it...but eh, whatever. Hopefully they'll find some way to get around him to be inside the well at noon, otherwise InuYasha'll be using up a whole lot of youki for NO reason. Poor Alphonse, his first kiss and he gets rejected! But the guy needs to know you can't mess with a love that "transcends time", which brings me to this: I bet things'll get really interesting when he and InuYasha meet. You should amend the summary to "before InuYasha and Al kill each other", lol. I can already feel the hostility and they haven't even met! But Al's a gentle guy and Ed would more than likely be the one doing all the fighting in his name, but ah! The possibilities. I forgot to ask in my last review...is the watch that Ed carries the same one from his days as a state alchemist? Great update! Till next chappie! :) ~Amber

he's not a perv! poor guy, she is just being her clueless self and al's poor body is acting like it's pubescent self. i swear the things have minds of their own, and at the most inopportune times...testosterone surges. i always told my son that it was his body's way of making sure everything worked right and he always looked at me like i had two heads. . . so the shards are like miniature batteries to the resourceful alchemist. . . yasha's going to notice al's attraction to kagome... i hope he's going to be understanding of the whole thing (i just made myself laugh) an now for some fireworks of the irate inu-hanyou variety... after he recuperates from the alchemy/youki induced nausea, vomiting and dry heaves, of course. great stuff ~ delighted, ginny

Interesting. If the shards' energy can power transmutations I don't see the youki thing being a problem anymore, and since Al is allowed to go to the well, I also see how he'll be finding that note. I'm really curious to see what Yash wrote. Even though, because of his lessons, he can write really well he wanted something believable...which I have a feeling will be something short, to the point, and rude, lol. Great update! Al is adorable! He always was a bit hormornal in the earlier FMA episodes...like when he fell for Siren. Come to think of it, he seems into girls that wear revealing clothes. The lil' perv. i am assuming that the well is to be watched closely in case ed and the dragon were to come back so i'm sure they would notice an unusual light then two folded lined pieces of paper that were ripped from a spiral bound notebook (invented 1924- i looked it up). one wonders what the notes say. . . all of yasha's youki hadn't been used up to transport them to early 20'th century but wouldn't the shard that kagome is carrying add power to transport the three of them? one wonders if ikeda will allow kagome to go with al and great uncle souta? one thinks he would become entirely suspicious to see a note from someone who even knows about kagome wherever ed is. . . excited that you update so promptly and i'm looking forward to reading more! *bounces happily* ~ thank you, ginny

Ooh, interesting. I wonder how Al and Kagome are gonna get to the well to find that note with all the JapoNazi police around, and if Inu'll be able to manage the transmutation without turning fully human(and permanantly). I really wanna commend you on the part with Inu's thoughts on Kagome and Kikyou. I think you got his character down PERFECT. Ed's, too. You can see that he's matured but theres still that temper of his that always shines through. I am lovin this fic! It's really the first good IY/FMA fanfic I've come across. wow, that's a twist... couldn't he use something like reiki (what kagome uses to power her hama no ya or purifying arrows) or houriki (power of buddhism) to fuel his attempt. . . one thinks that al should have made the connection about the dragon and the power to activate the well before risking yasha's life. even if they get through they have to get past the japanese elitist police force guys. yasha wouldn't be much good against them without his youki until he builds it back up. he couldn't very well poke them with an untransformed tessaiga against firearms. don't these people have a plan?... one expects yasha to fly by the seat of his pants but the others are supposedly educated! . . . some good music to listen to by a favorite japanese group, just search youtube for the following videos: xPH_HTVwOoQ and ICkPs-xlgpY . enjoy them as much as i enjoy reading your work. ~ thank you, ginny
