Thank goodness you updated, my shakes were getting really bad! LOL, so thanks for my fix, but ah man, what a cliffy! Still, though, I can still say "Yay!" because it does indeed look like everything is ready to be wrapped up next chapter. Thank you for not dragging out the second go-round of their 'adventure' in our century. By the by, I like the level of connection you showed between them. Theoretically, such levels of spiritual connection are actually possible, so presuming they are both strongly thinking of each other at the same time, plus they've both got some magic in them, yeah, I think it's 100% believable that they've got the amount of connection you portrayed without it having to have anything to do with a 'youkai mating bond' or any other such fandom cliches. Nicely done!

I am so incredibly worried about what is happening with Kagome on her side! Is she okay? Maybe she's hiding in the well and no one knows yet? Did the government take her? DID SHE DIE?! Blah blah blah! Things I have no answer to! Can't wait til the next update so my questions can be answered! :D

Holy...gah! First you made me want to scream Nooo! and then you made me want to cheer Yes!, so I guess you're forgiven for the 'Nooo' part, but damn! I am very glad that you did not decide to drag this part on and on, that after such a messed up start of a chapter we already have Inuyasha rushing to the rescue at the end of that same chapter, but damn it, now on I'm pins and needles again! They just LEFT the future! Well...at least one bit of good news is that we know it isn't Yoshida's men waiting for Kagome (and Inuyasha) on the other side of the well, but the bad news is that those government people still want to take Inuyasha away, and they have the tranquilizers with which to do so. Which they might just have to use on him since he'll be in full battle mode on arrival believing Kagome's life is in immanent peril. Still, though, since losing Kagome was ultimately what it took to make him realize how strongly he loved her, and this stunt of Kikyou's was what it took to get the undead miko to realize Inuyasha's feelings as well, then it's pretty clear to me that you were portraying that had this not happened, nothing would have been immediately resolved in the love-triangle back in the past. Inuyasha was unsure how he felt, was arguing with his honor, and Kagome was and still is prepared to give him up while Kikyou had been determined to claim him. Now Kikyou is gone (I agree that if Rumiko can have her soul ascend then so can you!) and so now after this NEW craziness in the future is finally resolved, Kagome and Inuyasha can have their happily ever after. But how long will that take? *sigh...* Hurry up and update! LOL

Yay! *Happy Dance* It kind of sucks that they're out his fire-rat robes, not to mention her good ol' trusty yellow backpack, but really, how else could they have come up with a distraction? That was perfect! Have the humans all focus on the flying streak of crimson while blasting the hell out of the well house and making a run for it. I'm so glad that Inuyasha was able to slice off the sealed top of the well before losing consciousness, and that Kagome was able to shove him in and dive in after him. I wonder why they didn't try to stop her, though. Of course they wouldn't shoot her with the hanyou-strength darts, but Kagome didn't know it wasn't Yoshida's men. Still, one would think they would have had some gunmen with normal strength darts to sedate Kagome. Oh well, maybe they did but Kagome just lucked out, or maybe they hadn't thought of that, thinking that if they sedated Inuyasha before they got to the well that Kagome would just cooperate. After all, there was no way she could have cut into the well herself, that was all him. Never underestimate a desperate hanyou! Can't blame Mrs. Higurashi for crying out on instinct but hopefully Kagome never gets a bug up her ass about it enough to ponder if it was really her mother and want to risk going back. Heaven forbid she fear for her mother's safety, thinking Yoshida got a hold of her and was holding her there as hostage. If that really were the case, then she would have been killed the minute they dropped down into the well anyway, so really there's nothing Kagome could do in either case. And even though it was the CIA instead of Yoshida, still don't want to let them get their hands on Inuyasha, either, so Kagome and he definitely need to stay in the past. Maybe an epilogue will reveal they somehow did survive the five centuries? Ah well, that's not necessary and certainly still a ways off. Just because they're back in the past now doesn't mean the story's over! Especially with Kikyou showing up right away like she did and that lovely departure of Inuyasha's after Kagome snapped at him. Clearly he didn't want to go, but hopefully he'll come to understand why Kagome couldn't tell him not to, as he was probably hoping, wanting, or maybe even needing that excuse; her telling him no. She can't do that. Although telling him go wasn't necessary, either. She could have looked at him softly and said "I can't tell you not to go..." and then let him make his own decision; he probably would have reluctantly still gone, but at least he wouldn't be pissed off. Oh well, I know he'll calm down, I just hope Kikyou doesn't do anything drastic. Oh kami, I can't wait to see what's next!
