This was beyond, beyond amazing! There wasn't a single thing I
didn't like about it. InuYasha's and Kagome's personality in here
was right on point, and their chemistry was beautiful and true. I
thought you handled the love triangle absolutely perfectly. Kikyo
understood and ended her life in peace and InuYasha was able to
truly think clearly about his feelings, put aside the past that was
clouding his judgement, and save Kagome just in time. InuYasha and
Kagome's level of intimacy and connection throughout this journey
was inspiring and an honour to read. Thankyou for this wonderful
fic!

OMFG... That was epic! So gooooood. Honestly it is was a great story, and I did not say that lightly! Just finished reading it and I must say it made me scream in frustration and sigh in delight (fanfiction rarely does this as I am an avid reader and poor grammar offends me). So I have to say that I'm impressed that you stuck with the characters so well. I loved how the situations brought out the character's emotions without seeming unnatural. Seriously awesome job! Hope to see more great stuff from you in the future :) |

Yay! *throws cyber confetti* What a wonderful ending! Sure, in theory, the story could just keep on going and going, but I think that was a perfect place to end it. If you just keep on adding to this universe then you'll never be able to have a chance to start work on your next project, whatever that may be. *squees in excitement* Whatever you think up next I know it'll be awesome, and because it's you I know you'll finish it. As a general rule of thumb I'm trying not to get hooked on incomplete stories any longer, for fear of heartbreak since soooooooo many stories I was reading over the years got abandoned, but I know you'll never abandon us mid-story so when you do post your next masterpiece I shall be there every step of the way! :-) |

Gah! I didn't even know you had appendicitis! Glad that all went okay, or I guess as okay as it can go with an infection...*frown*...but I'm so glad you're better and I'm so glad you posted this chapter! Yay! Inuyasha isn't superman, so considering Yoshida's prowess I found the fight scene realistic. Inuyasha's skin isn't resistant to human blades, his fire-rat is, and since he wasn't wearing that, well then there you go. I'm glad you didn't have him transform; for a minute there I was expecting it but his reasoning for knowing why he couldn't allow it was spot on. The only thing that bugs me, and not from a technical point of view so much as because I got so sucked into the story I'm one with the characters, is that I wish that smug ass bastard hadn't died thinking he'd taken them out with him. There's no way in hell he lived long enough to witness Tetsusaiga's barrier kick in...I would've loved to see his face in a split second dawning of knowing that he'd truly lost, but it just wasn't meant to be...*sigh*. I do find Tetsusaiga's barrier kicking in to be realistic, though. Why should it only protect against magical stuff? There have been plenty of cases of more solid barriers in the canon, so it stands to reason that Tetsusaiga could very easily protect against a physical explosion that had nothing to do with youkai magic. All in all I loved this chapter! The confessions moment was tender and sweet, wasn't expecting the interruption though it does stand to reason that the Naicho agents would show up again. I love how you ended it, Miyake giving up her career to do the right thing, plus that nod to her partner who apparently didn't die but is in the hospital. I'm glad you didn't really draw out the final goodbyes, it's sad but also a happy moment at the same time. There's definitely no coming back through the well ever again if it's full of cement, but that's okay because Kagome is where she belongs. Looking forward to the epilogue! |
