Wow, that was one volatile chap. I hope Bulma noticed just how dangerous Juu can be when he's pissed off. But she did break it off with him and I'm thrilled. Veggie, on the other hand, is being the King of Denial. I wish he would just cut the crap and admit how he feels about Bulma. Great idea of adding the long-haired cutie to the story. His friendship is something that Bulma really needs right now. Great update!!! |

I'm onto you, LGV; you write for soap operas in 'real life' don't you? I can just see those 'angst-filled pauses' in every new chapter you post. This is one of the most enjoyable fics I've read. I find myself yelling at my monitor (of course, I always check to make sure nobody's around, first!) I absolutely love the addition of Radditz in the storyline. Damn, I'd take him as my bodyguard any day! I can't wait to see where the plot goes next. As always, I eagerly await your next update, but I'm not one of those pushy readers that will hound you for the next chapter. No, not me! ;-) |

From an objective point of view, you have a nice grasp of tension, drama and cliffhangers. As an avid reader, my opinion is "how could you!?!?!?!" But I guess that's your job as an author-- to dole out suspense so that the reader must read more. But I can't help but sympathize with Vegeta... he has to deal with rejection so much. I'm still a little confused about chapter 17, the last chapter though-- there is no mention of Vegeta's misassumption and Juu's reaction seems kind of weird to me. Or is it because I am thinking that it is a weird reaction for someone who is in love with Bulma to have? Or maybe I'm just underestimating the cold side to him? And the developments on the Radditz end is very interesting-- very good new take on the whole Vegeta and Bulma situation. But I cringe thinking of the possibilities of torture that Vegeta could undergo... Mou... stupid lunkheads just confess your love and have Trunks! Hehe, please excuse that outburst... It's the part of me that hates angst but most of the time it is drowned out by the part in me that wallows in it. I guess it's the same struggle that every girl has.
Hopefully next chapter will clarify things even more! Or perhaps just muddle things even more for our favorite pair of lovers... ~__~ |

Oh wow, great timing. I hope Bulma breaks off her engagement with the scumbag. If he tries anything, I hope that Radditz kicks his ass. It would be awesome if Veggie would tell Radditz that he loves Bulma. Maybe that'll convince her that she should marry Veggie. Fantastic chap!! |

Very nice plot twist with Chapter 15. It was unexpected and a very pleasant surprise. But it seems like more will be in store to torture Vegeta with ~__~ What with the oncoming trouble that 17 (sorry too lazy to actually type it out) will cause even without Bulma as it is known that he will cause a war for Vegeta anyway... and then Radditz... But I like how you introduced the new character and the background story on him without telling us. We can just infer it through the dialogue. That's very excellent. Also, Radditz's entrance doesn't seem like Deus Ex Machina which is also very very good. I am also relieved to find that Bulma really didn't "sleep" with 17... although I guess she did do some heavy petting... which is pretty taboo anyway...
Man... for some reason I have this vision of Vegeta being really injured and Bulma walking in on one of his wet dreams about her. But oh well, I guess for another fic right? And whatever happened to Bulma's father? He was a pretty evil character... you've gotta give some closure on that part... And there was no mention of 16 outside of his role as lackey to the evil mastermind 17 and he's only in 2 chapters. Or is he just out there making sure 17's machinations are successful? Hmm.... and you cause such an aura of mystery behind Vegeta's past and his relationship with 18 (again too lazy to type it out).
So all in all, kudos! (If this were xanga, I would give you mad eprops ^_~ Sorry, inside joke if you're on Xanga... it's an online blog... never mind... ~__~ I have no life) |

I can't believe how dense Veggie has become. He jumped to conclusions and I hope it doesn't backfire at him. It'll be great if Radditz can help B/V finally get together. Great chap ^_^. |
