I love this story! There's lot's of lemon in it ^_^! But, what I don't understand is, why did you have to leave a cliff hanger? I mean, seriously, I think we all wanna know what happens next, and soon! So hurry up with the next chapter, okay? And d'ya think you could try to make Kagome do the impossible and try to make Youkai Inuyasha soften a LITTLE bit? After pondering it for a few days, I think I've figured out what was bothering me about this chapter: All the other times you've taken us for a trip through Full-Demon Inuyasha's mind, his perceptions and motivations were skewed, but coherent.
In other words, Demon-Inu was still capable of reason, he just saw the world through different eyes. I really liked the fact that he could think but not use spoken language. He worked with things that regular Inuyasha either didn't know or didn't think about: the pack rules. And he seemed to forget that the others didn't: that Sango wouldn't recognize a sub. hold, or that Kagome might object to the way he viewed her as an "unmated member of his pack." (Rereading chapter sixteen, I can tell that you're using some of the same points. Sesshoumaru's call for a distraction, "just barely made its way into his brain.")
I guess my point is that the trip -- and I use the word deliberately -- is so vivid that I can't imagine Kagome or anyone mistaking Demon-Inu for anything else, even in the middle of a battle with Naraku. |
