That story was simply breathtaking. Let me compliment you on how well you brought out the emotions in the story. I could truly feel and imagine exactly what was going on throughout the entire fic. You're good at immersing the reader. At times I wished that so much time didn't pass between some of the later chapters of the fic. I preferred the pace near the beginning and middle more than near the end. After the immense buildup I will admit that I was hoping for something more at the ending. Not necessarily explicit, just a bit more detailed. It was satisfying though to at least see that they finally had their moment and that the future was bright. ^^ Truly, I loved the relationship between Heero and Duo for many reasons other than that they are my favourite pairing. You kept both of them, as well as the other characters, in character so well that all their actions and reactions were genuine and heartfelt. I truly do hope you take on more projects like this in the future and that your writing continues to improve. Well done!

Whew! I'm relieve you're fast-forwarding a little bit, I don't think I could have waited seven months for the wedding! Gack! But I'm glad you're still writing some 'in between' scenes, I particularly loved the cafeteria, that was hilarious :)

Hopefully that's not that's not the way you plan on ending this great fic...I had almost forgotten about it though. In fact when I saw the new post I decided to re-read the entire thing, and boy was it worth it. I like the fact that you don't jump to much and it has a rather natural feel to it. I also like the switching perspectives between Duo and Heero because it rounds out the plot nicely. Especially since this is a very involved fic with a lot of emotion, a third person or a single perspective just wouldn't have done it justice. I hope to be able to finish this fic before I forget it again...so please update soon. thanks! ~AKA Shadow_Kat

!! I leave for awhile and come back to find this fic completely... bitchy Duo! What is with him? He's acting like a woman, whinning about his emotional needs. Watch me while I puke ~.~ Shouldn't he have been concerned with WHY Heero was ignoring him and acting that way... maybe something was wrong with HIM not DUO. Ugh! I feel sorry for Heero cause he didn't do anything wrong in the first place! (in my opinion) Thats just who he is! and Duo equals Drama Queen. Ok, that's enough of my rant... just got a little pissy cause i liked this fic... and I do not see how it can possibly keep my attention anymore.

I started off reading 'Life with Heero' (erm, finish that one soon maybe? Pretty please?) then started reading your other fics. This one is by far my favourite of yours and that's saying a lot. I don't think I've seen such an original twist on the amnesia thing anywhere, and the whole reaction to this, first by one then the other, is well thought out and realistic.
(My fav part is when WuFei takes one look at a smiling happy Heero photo and just knows that something is wrong :) )
Please write more! Give those rabid plot bunnies a few more kicks! |

Whew. I'm glad our boys aren't jumping into anything. Too often one sees fics which follow the formula "angst + angst + angst + angst + smooch + smut = super happy ending". I am glad that it appears that we'll get to watch the relationship develop and deepen and so on and so forth. Just be careful not to let it all drag too much.
