I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy this story. The characters have so much depth and history, that I am drawn in from the start and continue to be swept away. Your writing makes the emotions so strong and so real. An excellent update. I really look forward to the next chapter. And btw, I have re-read the Hidaka expulsion scene about 10 times because I enjoy it so much! |

ARG! I love this story and I am so glad you updated, but I cant get enough! I want to know what happened b/w Kikyou and Inu! And poor Kagome, she never gets a break. And what is up with Sango? You def have my attention. Please update soon! =) |

Wonderful update. Things are certainly moving right along. Bit by bit the pieces are falling into place, only problem is as they're falling the puzzle itself also keeps on getting bigger, so we're really no closer to solving anything! LOL. But I'm sure you have it all figured out, so I shall patiently await the next installment - and the next one after that, and the next one after that! |

What a cliffhanger that was! You always seem to do too good of a job with it haha! Once again I am blown away by your writing style. This chapter really felt like a turning point to a bigger plot. That was awsome.... I was on the edge of my seat.. crazy... I just loved it.... inuyasha sure knows how to dodge people.. I hope we get to see more sesshy in this fic.. oh and a little sugestion can sesshy's love interest be kagura... I just love them together.... and I wonder if kagome connected to sango .. well that's all from me... no no no.. wat would a crazy add to this story is if kagura becomes a guest at sachi and you know roku flirts with her but gets nowhere and seshomaru shows up and get on kagura's bad side, while she bonds with kagome...... hehehe....

Perpetual fan here. I have become an addict to this story in particular. If you ever decide not to finish this story, then I am going to need psychological help to get over it. The prior chapter was written with a different twist in the chronological order. By the end of the chapter, all confusion had left me. I so enjoy the constant kick to the reader's gut in your writings. The relationship between Kagome and InuYasha gives me the feelng that I am riding a fantastic roller coaster in a good kind of way. Cannot wait to hear how Shippo explains all. L-o-v-e-d it!!!! Cynbad146

Congrats on getting this going again with a really great chapter. It sometimes happens that after a gap this long the author loses their grip on the story and the new chapters just aren't as good but this flows really well from what you've already done and builds all sorts of tension.

Really good, exciting story! I like the twisted trap Naraku's laid at Inuyasha's doorstep. Really intricate mystery that keeps the reader's interest with the terrific characterizations and relationships.

While I know this seems wildly inappropriate I just want to say that if you ever feel really depressed please call or email someone. I have struggled with depression for years though I finally managed to pretty much git rid of it my oldest sister never did and she is no longer here because of it. Sometimes it's easier to talk to a complete stranger, if you ever need to talk pleas email me. I check it every day: antyem13 at yahoo. Nice chapter by the way, I think I just got really worried when I read your A.N. I hope you are okay, Emily.

Oh wow. You've already received a ton of new reviews for this update, and here's another one! Love what you did with...everything! The Hidaka scene was well done, and I especially loved that tantalizing moment in the kitchen. Poor Kagome probably thinks Inuyasha merely accidentally whispered Kikyou's name in the traditional OOPS way, but it seems to me he said it on purpose trying to pour some ice water over himself. Too bad he didn't realize until after the fact how she would take it. Shippou better not get in any trouble for telling her more because Inuyasha is the one who opened that particular can of worms. I love the way you did the cliffy with that last line. If memory serves, they are and have been continually wondering whether or not they can trust Kagome, so I'm sure it will be revealed that Inuyasha had to kill Kikyou, rather than like he got carried away with himself and accidentally killed her, which I almost feel you might be implying as a way to lead us astray with our ponderings, or maybe that's just me. I'm wondering what it was about their first time together, and Inuyasha later noticing the blood on his hand. That was weird. BUT I'm sure it'll all make sense soon enough. And then yes, there is still the mystery of Kagome's own past, and who she was and just what, exactly, she really knows, but more important than all of that...I still want to know who tried to kill her! I haven't forgotten how they first found her! Oh this is a basket full of mysteries, indeed. I want to say hurry up and update, but I understand how real-life can get in the way, plus you can't rush perfection, so...hurry up and update (within as reasonable a time frame as possible all things considered!)
