This has to be the best fan fiction story that I have ever read. I would read it again and again! Excellent job! I was weeping at work while I read those last chapters...you really did a wonderful job all the way around.

I've spent every spare minute of the past week reading this story, and I'm pretty darn sure it's the best I've ever read. I'm completely blown away by the scope of your story, your style of writing, the depth of feeling that it conveys, and your dead-on characterization. I have a tender heart and not much tolerance for angst, so at times the story was so depressing that I almost couldn't keep reading, but you more than made up for that with the ending. It made me cry. A lot. Thank you so much for being the wonderful author that you are. I look forward to reading everything and anything else you have to offer.

I love your story ... I was mesmerized by this thru one of the deviantart I viewed about Seshhoumaru. In fact, i am very much crazy about Sesshy-chan ... the way he played on the story ... simply sultry, sexy and witty. (yum!) You really know how to tear someone's soul out.That was the best story I ever read.You need to write a book.I really didn't expect it to end the way it did.I am glad though.It almost made me cry.I could actually see Kagome waiting for Sesshamaru.Just like InuYasha,Sango,and Miroku did for her.You really brought out all of my emotions with this story.No one has ever really done that before.I was angry when I should have been and I cried when I should have cried.I loved it and I hope you will write more.

Never, repeat I never, since I began reading fanfictions six years ago, have I ever come across an IY canon-universe fanfiction that reaches across the borders of time and space and strangles me with its beauty. I was laughing so loud at parts my mother nearly had me comitted. At other times, ie, the last few chapters, I was crying inconsolably. It is not hard to touch me emotionally, but this story has impressed on me that there ARE and CAN BE something so strong out there, something so undeniable, that it alters my view of what is and what is not and what can be and what cannot be. Up until I read this, I believed in perfect heroines and always finding a happy ending. Now I see beyond the ending and what is beginning. Call me crazy for gleaning so much from one story, but I was and still am, hours after completing the last chapter, truly moved for the better. What did I like about this story? Everything. But I know that doesn't help one in the area of improving skills...so...what did I LOVE? The lengthy chapters, the consistency of characters, the flow, the beautiful words and the hilarious bickering. I almost had a heartattack during the lemon, I was near tears with Sango and Shippou, and cheering when Sesshoumaru saved our favorite miko. I adored the addition of japanese vocabulary, but wish for maybe a few definitions of the articles of clothing. Kagome's occassional swearing was funny, but sometimes the f bomb seemed out of place...but mind you, only in a few. In all the other occassions, I would've yelled it just as loud. Sesshoumaru is portrayed in HotM as I always dreamed he should be, and Kagome is endeared to me more than ever. I love the spiritual riverbank and how you involved Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku, and even Kikyo. It must've damn near KILLED you to kill Kagome...and how Sesshoumaru met his end was...unexpected, but necessary, I think. Oh, I could go on for hours and hours on this story, but I already did earlier, when I tried to explain to my mother the intimacy of the plotline...and why I was crying and laughing at the same time....needless to say, mom lacks the background needed to follow my ravings, and so she just smiled and nodded and said, "Good for you, honey". Bless her heart for hearing me out, bless yours for WRITING the blasted thing, and bless you again and again and again for writing at all, and for doing it so well. I swear I'm posting the chapter quotes (a fabulous touch, by the way) on my myspace, all credit due to you, of course. I love the barenaked lady quotes best, but the other were unexpected but suiting. "There are no happy endings...but true love stories have no endings" has officially become my motto for the rest of my love life, until further notice. I must say that this story is so good that it made me cry a little in the end. You are such a good writer this is actually the third time I have reread this fanfic just because I enjoy the way you tell the story and the personality in your writing. A really good writer can make the reader laugh, cry and feel the characters and that is exactly what you've done.

beautiful. i am always in awe of an author that can make me laugh, cry, and feel slightly queasy XD all in the same fic. this was a true masterpiece and i wish it would've lasted forever. thank you for sharing such a great story and i wish i had found this along time ago. i know this fic will stay with me for a long time. you are one brilliant writer and deserve every award out there. the growth of sess's character was quite the ride to follow. you made his feelings and emotions, even though he's youkai, very real and something you can relate to. kagome was the best! her awesome pesonality and interesting inner musings had me lol almost every chap. their adventures were exciting and the training and fight scenes were intense. i loved it all. i think the way you portrayed the afterlife and kags friends waiting was sweet. i swear i have never cried so much in a fic. seriously, beautiful work. thanks again and take care! p.s hot love scene as well!! ; )

YouRock!! This is the best Ffic i've ever read. You will make an excellent writer 1day.(less you already r) I luv sesshy and the idea of K+S=luv seemed a little weird at first. But it so fits. I faved it. I have friends who've read it 2. They all luved it. Just one thing to say tho, you have a *ahem* dang good vocabulary. I didn't know what half of them words meant. But I loved it anyway. I absolutely love this story. I just finished it for the second time, and it was just as great as the first time. Fantastic work. I love how you found a way to show other sides of Sesshoumaru, but still keep his personality intact. This is by far the best Sesshoumaru/Kagome fic I've read.

Fantastic. The story was brilliant and one of the best Sesshomaru/Kagome fanfictions i have ever read. You are a excellent writer and one of these reasons is because you know how to reach to the readers heart and allow them to feel the full thrill of the story. The story was very sad, but you are right true love doesn't always preveil in cases. Damn you, you made me cry. Keep write because i think you have a great talent for wirting. The story is great and the way you made them both die in the end was great. Not in the sadistic sense but it is unlike most stories where they either end it at the point where the two lovers meet or a miracle happens and they can both live forever. Your sotry is realistic and refreshing.

I just reread this art and felt the need to show my appreciation one more time. I love when Kagome reveals what really happened to the jewel and the wish she made...it really completes the story. Some authors leave gaps in their plotlines, but not you. You've thought of everything and make it so that it's not confusing or incomprehensible...everything makes sense in your writing. And the way you mix humor with such complex emotions is amazing. Best of luck in all your endeavors, and I not-so-secretly hope that you'll continue writing Inuyasha fanfiction in your spare time.
