great update... seems that kagome finding her mother that way has put a strain on her emotions... nice that inuyasha is there to help her... good that kagome and souta had that talk... lots of drama... what's next... update when you can... please and thank you!

I think you have a FANTASTIC story here!! It is so orginial but ties so perfectly to the characters we know and love. It's really refreshing to see such hilarious, interesting, tantalizing, imaginative writing in the fanfic world; I look forward to following this story and your others!

Awwwwwwwwww! Oh gosh, InuYasha being there for Kagome like that... but I'm all sorts of anxious now about Kikyo and her proximity to Kagome's mother... Souta's "discussion" with his father was really well-handled and something I think she really needed to hear. It's nice to see the family come together given how they started out - you're doing a great job of building this world in a very, very realistic manner while still keeping up light-hearted (up until this chapter!!) Sorry for the late response, but I can't wait to read more!!!

Kikyo is Dr. Saito isnt she??? and she HAD to have something to do with Kagome's mother. her mom wouldnt even move to use the bathroom or eat, better yet extend the effort to hunt down a knife that had been hidden and kill herself. which led to being put under dr. saito's care... kill kikyo pretty please :) I just love a happy kag/inu kikyo-dying kinda ending.

Ahhh.....I DID find my voice again! Thank you so much for not killing Kagome's mother. Man that last part WAS really Heart-wrenching. This story has become very interesting and just downright awesome. You have a wonderful gift for story telling. So even after you finish this fic I hope you keep writing. ^_^

Awwww...I wonder if Kagome's mark turned a different color during that whole ordeal. Did you mention what color 'pride' was? I can't remember... But I LOVE the fact that it turns out her mother wasn't dead. Hopefully they will be able to save her at the hospital. Couldn't Kagome have given her back a little blood, at least, to increase her odds of survival? Oh well, I'm sure it'll work out. And I guess it wasn't Kikyou who held the knife or I'm sure Inuyasha would have smelled that, or even if Kikyou had been in the bedroom at all. Still, the part that got me thinking it'd been her - ya know, besides you saying that Kikyou had been at the property, with her scent detected at least on the outside - was how Mrs. Higurashi was all clean and dressed up nice and peaceful looking, when apparently she hadn't been crumpled in unmoving depression since forever. Getting up and taking a shower and getting dressed all nice and clean are not usually the acts of somebody about to kill themselves...then again I'm not a shrink. If she truly had been looking forward to the release, even so, I'm glad they got there in time to save her. But if Kikyou didn't have anything, directly, to do with that, then just what was she doing there? Hmmm??? You sneaky author you! Really looking forward to the next chapter!

Whoa...crazy cliffy at the end there. A lot of things got explained while they were with Sess and Kagura, so thank you for that. Didn't know her little tear-ups were Naraku actually cutting her, I thought she had some kind of weird-ass disease or something. Why does Kagome suddenly have a spider in her mark? Hmmm... But that ending, oh man... I hadn't forgotten that the last time we'd seen Kikyou, she was headed out the door to put one of her "back up" plans into action, but I really had no idea what she'd had in mind. I went back and reread...Kagome would still be betrayed by the one she loved the most...hmmm...and that peaceful scene, are we (or at least Kagome) supposed to be led to believe that her mother actually killed herself? But Inuyasha's nose should be able to take stock of that one pretty quickly...so I guess Kikyou decided he was a lost cause if she was going to go ahead and let him know that she was capable of something like that. Really looking forward to the next update! Keep up the good work!

great update... seems that kagome and inuyasha got some answers from kagura and sesshoumaru... good that they cleared some things up... nice that inuyasha is quite protective of kagome... but looks like bad things happened at the shrine... looks like kikyo had something to do with it... kagome saw her mother dead?... what's next... update when you can... please and thank you!
