so i'm starting to see a bigger picture here. there's a 'she' involved, as you dropped off in the last couple chapters...one who helped raise Sidney. i'm going to guess that this girl...entertained...men with use of her body...which is where Syd is getting these ideas that sex should be rough...and also for the constant use of a washcloth to cleanse afterwards. now...i'm reaching here...but i'm going to guess Richardson (sp?) had something to do with her buddies death, or worse. intriguing. great chapter...loved the use of kich adn belle (and kich's awesome end cap statement. LMAO. what a dog!!!). can't wait for more. thanks for posting early!!!

*dies* poor bas!! it's like all his old fears of hurting his mate came true!! ...but the sex...that was great!!! she totally needed that. poor girl!! and that akward sex talk? hilarious. w/ belle in the background: "tie her up"!! ...and he did. ;) amazing chapter!!

It's too sweet how Bas thought of what Gin said about tears and wishes. I always love it when your characters have little sentiments like that, it just makes them more real. ::sniffle:: So sweet...

Simply beautiful. I'm curious to find out who this she is, and I can already feel that thisis just the eye of the storm we're in here. We still don't know who was sent to watch over bas nor do we know much about syd's past.
