I really hope Seshoumaru comes around and just slices her to pieces..and revives her..and kills her..and revives her,and kills her.... um okay as you can tell I really hate Kikyo.
| Title: Nicely done Reviewed By: Fyrloche-NSI On: July 22, 2006 10:16 EDT Comment/Review: That chapter may have been difficult for you to write, but you pulled it off nicely. It seems that Kikyo has forgotten who to be grateful to, but I suppose that it was too much to think that the jewel would stay pure. Even though it is Inutaro and he is himself pure, the jewel was composed of evil intent, as well. I wonder if every good wish or deed performed with the power of the jewel will have to be balanced with an act of evil. snorts Don't mind me. I'm just engaging in one of my favorite pastimes, trying to guess what the author has in mind. By the way, Rumiko Takahashi threw our story lines a real curve there, didn't she? Who would have guessed that particular little twist? Oh, well. I guess we will just have to claim artistic liscense. sigh I know that it won't be much longer until you have your hands full of new baby, so I know that chapters will be fewer and farther between. I'm not complaining. Motherhood is far more important than any of these stories, I just hope that your more avid readers don't get ballistic over the length of time that will be coming between chapters. You know how some people are, they act like we should have no life outside of writing fanfiction for their entertainment. Be sure and let us know when the baby is born and what it is on your livejournal account. chuckles Though I imagine that Doggieearlover will probably beat you to it, if she gets half a chance. Take care, Fyrloche.

Feels her heart thumping painfully in her chest!! That was.... SO Awesome!! I'm still shivering from that chapter. What chills! Thrills!! Awesome work!! Bravo!! Bravo!! With the teaser I thought it was Kagome falling into a deep depression. But no it was Kikyou in her over-jealousness and hatred of Kagome and what she has. I hope that Kikyou can be saved from her pit of darkness. I can't wait to find out what that evil darkness is. Oh... sweet lord above... I think I know who it is... I think I will keep this thought to myself about who it is. And what a realistic touch... Having Kagome suffering from the sickly, greasy "second hand" sex that Kikyou enjoyed. Very true reaction... The need to clean oneself afterwards. Poor Kikyou, so wrapped up in herself blinding herself. and little Taro!! what a twist.. so angsty! and dark. You managed this chapter perfectly. I found myself wanting for nothing. The way you left the description vague with the dark sex scene was perfect. Just the right touch and tastefully done. Some writers would have gone overboard and end up grossing the reader out or offending them. But not you, No this was very, very well done and for your first attempt at dark writing too. Kudos!! Kudos!! The gift of your talent really shows well in this chapter. I sat on the eadge of my seat for the whole chapter.. Heart in throat and anxious. I love it!! You have skillfully kept and maintained the feel throughtout the whole chapter. I did enjoy it very much. You kept the characters true to form and reactions. It is a real pleasure to read. And with Inuyasha snapping at Taro, he must have felt similiar almost like he was back with the Jerk. Poor Inuyasha he does suffer from 'foot up to the knee in the mouth' diease. Liked the way Kagome understood what Inuyasha couldn't say and ease both sets of troubled minds. Kagome so so wonderful that way. A question who was Kagome instructing about the ways of her era? Was it Inuyasha so he can blend in more? or more schooling type for Taro? Sorry for being little dense here. I wonder why Kaede would keep her suspicions about Kikyou... errr.. sighs never mind... Inuyasha is blinder and denser than a blind person walk up a steep hill in the middle of a driving blizzard backwards when it comes to Kikoyu. Even if he did see it, he probrably won't believe it. I fear for Kagome and Taro and Inuyasha. This does not bode well at all. I liked how the seal kept Kaede out. I hope Kagome increases her knowledge and powers before this thing comes into play. Will everyone else beside Kaede sense the unease, the dark that she senses? Will Kaede send word to Miroku and Sangoasking them to come and help protect/ guard? And now we know it wasn't Taro who restored her life.... I love this cliffie!! Thank you so much for sharing this story with us!!! Please keep up the most excellent and Kami gifted work, but don't pressure yourself to do so. We can wait patiently. In fact, waiting will only make it more savoury for the next chapter as we can re-read the other chapters. You Totally Rock!!

Where to begin? I guess that I will start with telling you that I discovered this story from doggieearlover's live journal site. I haven't read your other stories yet; that is on my to do list. This story is very good and I look forward to seeing how it turns out. But, I have a bone to pick with you. Now, let me say that I am not mad or upset, just a little aggravated. A little over a year ago, I came up with this great idea to use in my story 'Reunion' that involved the idea that Inuyasha's mother was the reincarnation of Sesshoumaru's mother. I was very proud of myself for thinking of something that no one else had used, to my knowledge. Then my computer crashed and I haven't been able to write anything for almost a year. sigh It just goes to show that great minds think alike. Just to let you know, I still plan on using that, with appropriate disclaimers since you wrote down the idea first. I didn't want you to think that I was trying to steal your ideas. Now, back to the review of your story. I like Inutaro. He is the best of both parents. I particularly liked the way he handled those bullies. I foresee great things in his future, though you might want to cut back on his wish granting a little bit. What would be the point of a terrible villian if all he had to do was wish it out of existance? I read your teaser. Prediction: Naraku and Kikyo. What else .... what else? Oh, yes. According to doggieearlover, someone is going on maternity leave. Congratulations! May you have a healthy delivery and try not to kill your husband for ever laying a hand on you! My wife made similar threats with our first child. (She was in labor for 36 hours!) But, each succesive child got easier. No, I don't have my own tribe. We stopped at three. Final words, I promise. This is a great story. You are going on my alert list. Always remember to write for the love of writing. Reviews are great ego boosters, but in the end, always be true to yourself. Until next time, Fyrloche

That was a WICKED twist that I did not expect. Now that Kikyo is alive, though, that is bound to casue a whole lot of trouble. Kagome still clearly has self-esteem issues when it comes to Kikyo. And Inuyasha himself didn't help the situation with the mistakes he made with Kikyo in the past. The one edge that Kagome held (according to her) was that she was alive and Kikyo wasn't. Now that advantage is gone, and I don't see Kikyo conceding defeat just because Kagome is ahead in the game (mated and having a child with Inuyasha). Things just got REALLY interesting and ominous. I can't wai to see what you do with this story next. Excellent.

The second time just today, and for the first time I was struck with tears. NEVER in all the years I've been reading fanfiction, has a single one made me cry... Whil your grammar isn't necessarily flawless, it does little to distract from the vivid characters, that you bring to life, give a presence to in the real world. You take these already crafted characters, and turn them into something more, with backgrounds, history, and take their torments and make them your own. It's utterly fascinating to read each new chapter. Congratulations on an absolulte masterpiece. Aiko

Whoot!! Whoot!! Awesome!! Kudos!! Nice touch with the scene involving Sesshoumaru. I thought it was a clever and delightful bonus that you had Taro and Sesshoumaru talk about his mothers' reincarnation and Inu no Taisho. Kudos on this ingenious addition!! So sweet that InuTaro gave Sesshoumaru back his arm. Would that make Sesshoumaru annoyed? He would feel like he has a debt towards Taro for his gift, wouldn't he? Happy that Sesshoumaru pointed out that Taro's display of power will now be like a beacon to all. Don't understand why Taro gave Kikyo back her life. I would have thought that for her to become real again Kagome would have to die. How was he able to do it without taking Kagome's soul from her leaving an empty shell behind? I have my fingers crossed that she didn't trick him in order to steal Inuyasha and Taro away from Kagome. I loved it when Taro said Kagome was prettier and the bestest mom!! So sweet and touching. Poor Inuyasha he has screwed and f***ed up royally again this time. I wonder how he is ever going to make it up, how is he ever going to prove to Kagome that he L.O.V.E.S. her and won't steal her child away abandoning her for the ever perfect, can do no wrong Kikyo. I really applauded Kagome for pointing out rather bluntly how she felt by using Koga as an example. Very nice touch. She is still fearing that Inuyasha is leaving her. I wonder when he is going to see she is dying in her insecurities regarding his feelings to her and Kikyou. He has really broken Kagome, hasn't he? Completely broken Kagome? Can he put all the pieces together? Can he find all the pieces to put together? Didn't Kaede tell Inuyasha that her soul is lost/broken? .."Her spirit is broken and you are the only one with the power to heal her. She has lost herself and calls out to you to find her."... And from what I can see still is partly lost/broken in the fog. Will Inuyasha remember this? will Kaede remind him? I can see that their newest enemy in the future will more than likely use this to their advantage. Broken Kagome will be a virtual sitting, blinfolded and bound fat duck on a silver platter for anyone with a silver forked tongue. Kagome is going to be very tense and cold-ish towards Inuyasha now that Kikyou is in the village until she is assured 100 percent. Their relationship is going to be so strained I have my fingers crossed that they are both strong and stubborn enough to survive it. cringes... I can see Koga swooping in and taking full advantage of the strain/tense to brain wash Kagome... I await on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to see the next chapter. and don't worry about being late... Life happens.. just take your time and let your Muse flow. You Totally Rock!! Please keep up the most excellent work!!

Whoot!! Whoot!! Whoot!! and WOW!!!!! I loved this chapter's tenderness and WAFF-ness. You did a great job on this Literary Goddess. You have two thumbs up, two big toes up and a whack of cheerleaders flailing their pom-poms at you!!! Magnifico!! Bravissimo!! Kudos!!I enjoyed how Taro delievered messages to Kagome, Mama Higurashi and Inuyasha. A wonderful touch!! And thank you for bringing about the ever forgiving heart of Kagome in the first part of the story. Her strength never stops growing. You handled the subject of Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha's hurting secret and that 'monster's' actions very very masterfully!! Kudos!! It was done with the perfect mix of words and emotions!! It was really pleasing!! I loved the way Inuyasha healed her with his tenderness. Awesome!! Your amazing talent with writing is always a pleasure and delightful to see, read and behold!! Nice wake up call...giggles.. very nice wake up call... The park scene was also just fabulous!!! I loved the way little Taro had his father's scowl. And so pleased with the way he handled the bullies even after all he went through with the 'monster'. And when Kagome explained more of her thoughts and feelings, how she was basically scared and ashamed of herself That was awesome. So very Kagome-ish/Takahashi-ish!! It was all in all very exquistedly executed!! And the ending of the chapter was too cute.. two scoops... Sweet!! Please keep up the most excellent work and I eagerly await the next update!! | Reviewed By: LadyIvy [MediaMiner Member] On: June 21, 2006 11:10 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: I'm happy that everything worked out in the end, but it seems that Inuyasha and Kagome will not have an easy road. Kagome is on the verge of needing a therapist in this fic (what with all her self-esteem issues, and rightly so after 5 years of abuse), but Inuyasha is being incredibly patient and loving with her, something she desperately needs. She needs to face her insecurities, though--they are what led her to deprive Taro and Inuyasha of each other's company for years. She can't keep running from her problems and should have stayed to work things out with Inuyasha when he told her about Kikyo. He worked with her about her husband, so I think he was due the same courtesy. Fortunately, they were able to get beyond that hurdle and have their son returned to them, but what about the next time? Will she keep running or face her fears? I love this story because it has so many possibilities for drama, humor, fluff--everything. This newest chapter was great, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next update!
