I loved the ending. Great job! Everything was in keeping with the characters, and how they had changed. I loved the way you just knew that Vegeta and the others really wanted her to be saved (and the crowd murmurs was a nice touch). I loved her impassioned and honest speech, her acceptance and hope. I loved it all. Thank you for all the time you put into this, and for sharing it with all of us. Will look forward to reading it again! :) |

What a gorgeous ending. I'm not even sure how to express myself right now. The fact that we are on google chat with the ladies in the other window is not helping my concentration. The tone of the ending was so perfectly in line with what you had set up so far. It's so desolate and yet really hopeful at the same time. Bittersweet. I loved it. Can't wait to see what you come out with next. |

That was amazing !! The culmination of all of Bulma's deeds catching up with her while she almost has this sort of acceptance as she reflects on her choices was so well done. I also liked the realism that she is not going to be regarded as a "hero" just for undoing her own misdeeds in the first place. And I really liked the metaphor of the broken ship being like her tattered soul. It's evidenced she's been broken even before Vejita approaches her. Just so well done and in keeping with the tone of the story -- loved it. Finally, the ending scene with the two of them had tension on so many levels. And I loved how he did bring out of her the desire to live. In breaking her, he also breathed life into her. Well done!! And what a treat to get an update so soon :) Thank you for updating!!! |

Holy crap, two chapters? I didn't even realize! The V/B scene was intense, I don't even know how to describe it other than that. I loved the insight into Bulma's thoughts - it was so fitting with the way you've portrayed her though this whole fic. So tortured and conflicted, and yet still strong and self-aware. I am so hoping for a happy ending and yet I can see you going either way. I'm so glad you're back and close to finishing this wonderful story. |

I've been following this on FF, but recently popped by here and found that there was a chapter here that wasn't on FF. Anyways, please tell me you're going to finish this story!! This chapter was so heart breaking... with Bulma finally coming to terms with her feelings for Brolli... and him dying... AHHH! But srsly, for my sanity, please finish this! ^_^ |

I'm enjoying this story very much even you you update once in a blue moon lol Good plot and excellent characterization. Well, except Bulma. I understand why she is the way she is. She watched her family and race wiped out. And lets face it. Shes characterized as a loud mouthed slut in 99% of the fics. I dunno why though...at least not the slut part. Anyway. What I cant FEEL in her is intelligence. Sure shes determined and conniving but somehow intelligence doesn't come through. Especially in the last chapter I read. She became hysterical and a weak crybaby for what? Because she didnt get answers? Of course they wont tell her that they want to break her. No one in their right mind would. She should be one step before them, but she just breaks down like a weakling. Meh. Its a good story just the girl is a bit OOC. Keep up the good work and LOOK! Its blue moon!!! Update! XD

Wow, what a sad chapter. Fitting, I think, that Brolli dies to save Bulma, though. And I'm glad that it happened after she came to realize what he meant to her. This is the sort of fic that makes me want to leave a long, drawn out review detailing just how good it is, but leaves me so awed that I really have very little to say. I am eagerly, rabidly awaiting your next chapter.

I can't remember which chapter was the last one I read, so long ago, but I know I haven't read this one, and what a particularly good chapter it was!! I'm continually struck dumb by your characterizations and your will to hold to those characterizations. Even in his softening, Vegeta is still so twisted, and Bulma is still so strong in hers. I know I would be so tempted to just let them love each other without having to deal with such things, but that would make it crummy. :D Let me say again, how glad I am that you've decided to continue RIB, and that I'm around to read it.

Bulma is kicking ass, I love it. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a possibility of a relationship with Bulma and Vegeta or Brolli. It started out so negative and malicious, they each had malevolent reaosons for attempting to win over the other person, some of the bitterness seems to have gone so maybe there is a possibility, but at the moment I wouldn't say that Bulma loves Brolli, I think she cares for him, reluctantly, but her emotions towards the saiyans were so tied up with vengeance and hate that any chance for something beautiful to blossom was smothered. The same with her relationship with Vegeta, although I will say that I think there is more chance merely because he is the one who proved to be the true challenge, the one challenge she couldn't conquer. Also I think Vegeta arouses a hope for things she didn't think she could ever have, love, companionship.
