I've enjoyed this story all along the way from the dark and grittey descriptions to the satisfying ending. I'll have to say the Epilogue could have been in your head from the very beginning because it was a very appapro ending to go along with the title. Congrats on a wonderful, well-told story that kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time. And I do hope that after the last chapter, Sesshomaru finally broke down and went through the door of that coffee shop since there was no longer a real reason for him to stay away (other than his promise, of course - but I'd think Rin took care of that). Sorry I'm terrible when it comes to long in-depth reviews - but I'd hate to ruin the ending for someone who might decide to give it a go - it's well worth the read. |

I enjoy the last few chapters very much, had to go back to the beginning of the fanfic and some earlier chapters to connect all the details together - but now I understand everything! You did this beautifully; I never suspected him for a second I'll be waiting for the last chapters, it's been a long time coming since I started to read this fanfic in 2009 (I think, lol). Can't wait! Thank you for the update! |

Oh wow...just...that's terrible, but I have to wonder what undercover cops have done to keep their cover and infiltrate the mob. It's a damn chess game and some pieces do have to be sacrificed. Shit. I feel sorry for all of them. But, it isn't good to become what you are trying to abolish. That's a really tough call. I guess he should go to prison, but he also needs some serious mental help. I was hoping he was working undercover for someone higher up and wouldn't really have killed an innocent person. This just sucks for everyone. And poor Rin. I wonder what she'll do now. I feel bad for Sesshoumaru as well, even though he is a boss. Can't wait to see how you end this story. Life isn't fair, but it is nice to see people happy. At least Kagome and Inuyasha have each other. So sad. *pouts* I hope this ends on a better note. I've forgotten so much of the story already and that definitely calls for a re-read once it is finished. Great fic! Thanks for updating. ^_^ |

I can't tell you how frustrating it has been to stay with this story so long because of the fact that I generally have a strict no-unfinished-stories policy, but you should feel very proud. I and apparently tons of other people adore your story even without the little "complete" at the top of the page. Quite a roller coaster ride, and I will definitely be reading it again when it's completed to take in the ride again :) Thank you very much for this chapter, and eagerly awaiting the next installment! |

I wow! I never would have guessed that Kouga would be the assassin. How horrible for Inuyasha. I'm going to have to go back and re-read. Rin really got shot? I hope it isn't bad and I hope Sesshoumaru doesn't go to jail, though he probably deserves it. Oh, I don't remember Kagura being his wife. She'll probably pay - in blood. No need for a divorce. lol Hm, there might even be a turf war if Sesshoumaru decides he needs to stomp everyone and establish his dominance in order to keep Rin safe. LOL Your portrayal of all parties was excellent. Awesome chapter! Can't wait for the next one. ^_^ |

As always, your chapters are frustratingly amazing. (The frustrating comes from the wait for the next chapter) I'm nervous that Sesshomaru is somehow tied in with the murders and Rin is going to get more sucked into this, and I hope Rin will tell Kagome something soon! (As if this story wasn't complicated enough ;P) Thanks for another chapter! All eagerly awaiting the next one~ |

the guy that takes the workers from that club...reminds me of an episode from smallville. where lois goes undercover in a strip club and gets taken by some guy that comes in regulary. funny the girls all say leave with him and you are never seen again...the whole time kagome is going undercover i envision lois. i love the story though...just thought i would mention that connection. not saying you took it could be a coincidence lol. |
