I for one am not worried about Evan...he's made of tougher stuff than that...he's almost full youkai after all!!! Please guys do you really think a bullet would take out the devious sexy rock star known as Zel Roka? the answer to that SHOULD be no. GREAT friggen chapter!!! FINALLY V is starting to realize a few things...

It hurt. this will probaly be like kurt sensing sam in chapter 34, evan will sense valerie's pain too. this fic seems to take longer to develop, P8 was fast.

Okay so I KNOW Evan CAN'T die... because well then that would be the end of the story!!! So... I'm worried and pulling out my hair (more for Dieter's sake than Evan's) but I REALLY want to know WHO did this and why and how Evan's going to kill them if anything happens to anybody that he loves. Oh... and poor Gin :( Although this chapter pretty much made me want to cry, I must agree with the others, this is one of your most intense and best chapters EVER!!!!

WhisperingWolf got it in before me.. I was thinking maybe this was how he was going to drop the Zel Roka persona since he knows V's the one and wants to settle down. But part of me is not so sure he planned it like this either. I guess in her panic she didn't think of Maddy. So I guess it's time to learn what he really is. And I agree with the others - this was such a powerful chapter - I was practically chewing my lip off and my hands were shaking too! Can't wait for a next update! Thanks Sue!

OMG...Evan. I hope he's ok! He can't die... that'd be catastrophic and...and just downright terrible! Poor V she's freaking out and she's obviously frustrated. Poor thing. This was one of the most powerful chapters you've ever written, out of your whole series. Tears came to my eyes when I was read this chapter. Not only is Evan my favorite character out of your whole series, but this chapter really depicted those things you see but never really experience. It was very VERY real. A definite killer to come back with. I hope everything is going well with your family! Keep up the outstanding work. ~MSMND

WOW you got us all on that. Now here is the big question youkai live for like EVER right. How many times do does each one have to "die"? But I wouldn't think that Zel Roka was ready to die, but the closer Evan gets to V I think it would be time for a new life right? I was wondering I really don't know if it was addressed in any of the Purities, maybe I will go back and reread and find my answer, but how are youkai traits hidden?

poor V... for a WHOLE chapter you haven't let her find him.. OR have him directly involved... (note on my quest to reread Purity during the school holidays, and during this heat wave, about 104 F, or 40 C (or more...) although tomorrow should be the last day! Wow! I mean you know something is going to happen, but you don't expect it to be that bad. So, when is Valerie going to admit that she loves Evan? And will the next chapter be the one where she discovers his family history? I can't wait to find out!

Zel Roka? Dead? I doubt Evan's actually dead, but the question becomes...is this how he intends to release the persona of Zel Roka? Or will his comeback boost sales? Poor Valerie, I can't imagine being in that position. Hopefully Bas or Cain will find her... Damn good chapter by the way, very intense. Welcome back, and I hope everything's just fine at home. I know how hectic it can be, my sister's got twin's brewin', and my niece is three. Lol, kids are fun though.
