Gomen! I just didn't know if you were one of those authors who continued reading the reviews of stories you wrote a long time ago. I will be sure to remember that in the future but back to subterfuge...I liked the Christmas Story reference that was ingenious! also I'm sure all of us understand the economy situation, after all...we are all struggling to make ends meet. So Val's from the South. We do say 'yall' quite a bit down here, I guess. I suppose you just don't notice it that much when you grow up with it. Amazingly cute chapter, and the recession is indeed unfortunate. Do what you have to do, and we will patiently wait. :D

The situation that our economy is in is definitely unfortunate. I do hope that everything works out for you and your family. My family is struggling too, my mom just lost her job so I understand how it feels. But on a lighter note, this chapter was cute! Valerie took his earring, he serenades her with sexy songs and we find out that V was born in Kentucky. Ooh... very interesting indeed. Can't wait to hear more on her backstory. I love this chapter! Oh, she took his EARRING! Oh, HOLD me! That invisible pull is so endearing and slowly it's gathering those little lost parts in the both of them and cradling them in care. Somehow, the thought of a homeless kitten being taken in and adored comes to mind. Also, their personalities balance so well. I'm actually sighing here, Sue, like a lovesick sap. Gawd, that's how much I got drawn into this chapter. I LOVE her refering to him as ADHD, too--my thoughts EXACTLY! **choked snort** Oh, and those "leisurely thrown out" lyrics after the proclamation of his proud endowment to women--V handled that very well, actually--poor horny Evan. And, the ever-so-popular question to deflect every and all V protestations: "Why were you in the bushes?" Oh, someone give me a bag to breath INTO, that never ceases to get a good couple belly laughs or hearty chuckle out of me. Okay, maybe Im a damn hornball for saying it but...oh, hell, I'm gonna type it! I can't wait for their first KISS! (thought I was gonna go all HENTAI, didn'tcha, Sue? Go on, admit it. **nudgenudge**) Okay, so I'm thinking a bit more than smooching...on the lips...on the mouth...okay, nuff with that. NEwho, wonderful chapter indeed and about the unfortunate recession, my heart truly goes out to you and though it's not much, I hope my offering helped some. No no no! Zere are ways! Go to your public library--they ususally have computers you can use to access the internet! I've thought about it, too--cut down on groceries, or do without the phone/cable/internet package. Food is overrated. In the meantime, I'm praying things will turn around--for all of us!!!! It took me two days but I finally read through up to the most recent chapter and I am overwhelmed by how addicted I am to your story. I have theories about the accident and I really hope that we get to here V's story (preferably told to Evan) and I can't wait to see her stand up to Marvin and tell him that what they have is sub par and not good enough. I'm in awe of the raw emotions that sweep over me throughout your story and were this an actual bound novel I know I wouldn't be able put it down. Thank you and can't wait for more. Something tells me I will need tissues in the future before all is said and done.

Okay...wow. Evan's a MESS! In the ELEVATOR, Evan? Why did that surprise me? And Bone...Dude's got quite a constitution, lemme tell ya. Then again, Bone's about as freaky as Evan is. Hell, re-reading this chapter (and, you KNOW me, Sue--of COURSE I re-read it...3 times...), he's surrounded by horndogs or folks so used to his rampant sexuality that it barely registers (Mike, you poor thing--ROFL!) Gawd, I almost feel sorry for V when they finally get to intimacy. Okay, that's a damned LIE--hell, I'd like to switch, honestly. Yeah, it's a fictional story, I know--don't care! Evan's my kind of youkai. And the Unca Bone part...that was really sweet. Makes me want to draw a fanart of the two of 'em horseplaying...and that elevator scene...hmmm, maybe...
