hmmm...my last review just sorta went screwy, so i guess ill tone it down, and say my piece again. ur story's awesome, and ur awesome. ur college, however, is not, and i wish u the best of luck with ur studies/exams. im ridiculously happy that several of my favorite stories have been updated, and i hope u have the chance to update soon. if not, it wont be held against u. ^________^

I loved your writing but every once in a while you messed up on a fu words but over all it was grate. I didn't want to stop reading!!! It is after new years thou and you said that you would have some new chapters posted on New Years.

Hehheh! I should have realized if I hadn't seen that last one, I might have missed a preceeding one, too. Hiei's return through HIS eye. I do so love the point when he realizes that it doesn't matter what he may think or wish, his feelings are engaged. And i particularly loved his thoughts about how Kagome snares men. She brings out their protective side. I've tried to hit upon that myself in a few stories. I definitely think it was a key factor for Inuyasha that he could declare himself her protector. Kikyou never let him do that for her. And by letting him do so, Kagome showed her faith and trust in him and it made him much more confident in himself and gave him twice as much to fight for. I agree completely that it would be a draw for just about any male, Hiei being no exception. Those who have never had to care for anyone but themselves probably cherish it all the more. Love the way you brought that out in this chapter. Can't wait for more of this story!

Okay, how did I miss reading this one? I really, really loved it! Kagome's thoughts about her dream were so very poignant. At first, i thought it was inuyasha who told her she didn't belong there anymore, but then she realized it was Hiei's arms she felt. I am a little saddened that she feels she cannot make it on her own--that she HAS to have someone like Hiei around. But, of course, it was so very nice to have her wake up and realize she WAS holding Hiei's cape or scarf or whatever. Even though he was at the window, obviously he had been close enough to touch her. And despite his words, we know he missed her, too. I am so curious to see what her reaction will be to his changed appearance. And, honestly, I am seriously wondering how Hiei may deal with a returned Inuyasha, when they reach that point in the canon storyline. Very nice chapter. Enough with the tears, though! On with the good stuff! ^_^

Yay! He has returned! Poor Kagome. (I seem to say that a lot. LOL!) She has been thinking she drove him away. That rotten little fire demon owes her. And he will be returning rather changed, now that he has mastered the dragon. I wonder if that will come into play? I love getting to see inside Kagome's head, and her thoughts about Hiei and Inuyasha seemed very natural. Now, it's time to see if missing her while he was away will affect the way he is with her now. ^_~

Souta was right, Kagome is predictable because every time she was upset over Inuyasha she cried in front of the Goshinboku. This was a sad chapter, what with Kagome crying and all. Also, I liked the imagery of the storm reflecting Kagome's sadness. I can't wait until Hiei and Kagome see eachother again! :)

Ah! So cute, Hiei had a lot of time to think about what he wanted and he still denies it to a certain extent. Stubborn men are just the cutest things ever lol.Loved the chapter (of course you wrote it after all)and I look forward to see what part Kurama plays in upcoming chapter... if he does, it seems kinda like he will with the way you wrote this chapter at least. Anyway looking forwrad to more, you're still the best and good luck in all you work on
