I'm glad I decided to browse the listings before work. Stupid e-mail notifications still aren't working, at least for me, but I'll try 'favorite-ing' you again and see if that fixes the problem. Whatever. Good updates! I absolutely love the last line about Sesshoumaru 'exterminating' his conscious long ago, LOL. So like something he would say. |

Comment/Review: I love all your work. There was just something about this one that truly pulled at me. I search and search for wonderful fics, to no avail. And then I check my e-mail. There waiting in my in-box is the notice that you've updated. And I smile knowing that my search for something worthy of being read, something truly enjoyable, is over for a bit. Thank you for that. Thank you for all your wonderful words. I'm sorry I don't review more often. I'll try to be better about that. Thank you once more. |

Title: Seasonal Remembrance Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: October 21, 2010 13:05 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Very, very well written, and very poetic in nature. I don't know what else to say, and you know it's a rare occurrence when I'm speechless, LOL. This piece was perfect, simple as that.

Title: Watching Over Me Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: October 09, 2010 02:22 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Awww...this is such a touching scene. I like that it's true canon, in that Kagome has not somehow been magically made immortal. It's bittersweet, in a way, but at least Inuyasha will never again be alone. Not when he's already got his first of what I'm sure will be many children.

Title: Batter up! Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: September 25, 2010 00:08 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Really loved "Swordplay: 20th Century Style"...even though I sensed the baseball theme on the horizon, I thought it was really clever and really well done. I was not expecting that tiny twist at the end with Inuyasha asking for advice! LOL, brilliant!

Though it's clearly smutty in natural, generally speaking, there's also a twinge of creepiness associated with the notion of the tiny pervert in the dark, doing as he pleases. And on that note… Noooooo!!!! Say it isn't so! While I never got off my duff to join Iyhedonism in the first place, and I can't honestly say I'm riddled with regret at the missed opportunity, I will most definitely, definitely miss all of your (and everyone else's) posts in response to the various challenges of that forum. I never had the time (and still don't) to drop whatever I'm doing to bust out mini after mini based on random prompts, but it both sounded and looked like fun. Still, I can agree with the mentality that it's better to burn out than fade away. Rest in peace, Iyhedonism. Now, let us not forget that there are still other communities out there, which brings me to "Generosity". Kami…how did you master the ability to pour so much emotion into so few words? One of these days, I'm going to have to try my hand at writing a few minis, community prompt or no. To be able to paint a masterpiece with so few brush strokes is a talent I have not yet mastered.

Makes sense when you think about it. He's always rolled his eyes at Miroku's fascination with asses, and let's not forget how wide-eyed he got whenever he 'accidentally' caught a glimpse of Kagome's naked chest in the manga. I also loved how you tossed in the 'hanyou' bit, that he's so amazed to find himself so blessed as to have such a woman in his life. As for "Spicing Up Our Sex Life", I love that instead of getting all butt-hurt by Miroku's comment (no pun intended), Sango came up with a legitimate solution, giving him what he asked for while simultaneously making him pay for having asked for it in the first place. And you managed to toss in some taijiya history into the thing at the same time! Because it does make sense that if they specialized in slaying demons, then where did her knowledge for human hand-to-hand combat come from? Sango the ninja…well done!

Reviewed By: kokoronagomu [MediaMiner Member] On: May 25, 2010 15:15 EDT Comment/Review: there is a strong distinction between choosing to be protected and not having a choice. one is a weakness and the other is a strength. so many times authors paint her as un-able or as weak, but she is neither. even though she is untrained she is courageous and determined. from the first running from the village when she realized the centipede was after her-- she set aside fear and regularly took on great odds without a second thought. --BRAVO! ♥

Such a simple, easy thing to write, but the images you managed to portray with so few words went beyond emotion. It wasn't so much that you had Kagome kick-ass, we've all seen that before and I think we can all appreciate an anti-'damsel in distress' Kagome from time to time. But seeing it through Inuyasha's eyes, his first time realizing just how powerful Kagome truly is. Excellent take. Definitely needed to be first-person. Well done!
