Lovely, just lovely. It makes me sorry that I'm too old for that
kind of romance any more. They are so good for one another, he is
the rock she leans on, and she is the softness, wonder, and hope
that was never in his life growing up. I'm loving how this
relationship is developeing. Just lovely.

Cain, Bas, Hana. It's all kicking off isn't it? My heart just broke
a little at Jessa's admission... things are going to get a lot
worse before they get better aren't they? Phillips men aren't very

So many excellent chapters. A few that had me fanning myself but
they're still not there are they. Still both so hurt from life and
hiding from what they're feeling, if they recognise it at all.
Maybe Ashur needs to speak to Ben about mates, I highly doubt it
was a conversation he had with his parents. Jessa has been such an
interesting character to read as she is young and with it brings
all the thinking and decision making of a teen. So very different
to Kagome but then again running around after Shikon shards would
temper any teen. Devlin has turned out to be quite lovely, I still
suspect he's the Duke's son so how about you mate him off before
the whole thing comes to the fore, Manami is still unattached. Will
we find out what kind of Youkai he is? And as for Kells, he'll be
back soon and the adults will have no time to do adult things. If
Jessa is frustrated now then I feel sorry for her. Thanks for
updating Sue and I hope you're feeling a lot better. M

Well, I've been sick and came back to WHOA! LOL, I had to read a
few chapters to catch up and I gotta tell you, I LOVE this story.
Jessa is just emough of a spitfire to really wake Ashur up and pull
him out of his loop. I MISS KELLS, and can't wait till he meets
Evan. He'd be the perfect Mini Me!

Aww that has to warm your heart when kells called :) and it really
is a sad day that she doesn't know what a smore is... Ashur should
fix that before kells comes home so he doesn't eat them all lol I'm
glad he filled her in on what is going on with the investigation,
we saw how well it didn't work out with Ben and charity the keeping
the ladies in the dark.

Well isn't Ashur thawing, having Carol around just for Jessa's sake
is very sweet considering he's such a grumpy old man. Though I'm
sure that as soon as Kells is back he will look back on this as an
awful decision. I do wonder how Carol intends on helping the
hapless lovers along. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Well the dancing went much better than I expected. No one is dead.
Definitely a sad chapter, the turmoil they're both suffering is
clear. Though sometimes you have to break something down completely
before it can be rebuilt stronger. I hope that's the case here. Oh
and btw, Carol and Chelsea would make great friends. I imagine them
linking up would strike fear into the hearts of the Phillips men.

This made me smile. They're getting to know each other finally,
without burning cuffs or Ashur running away. Maybe some words from
Ben will help with the age thing, actually maybe not Ben,
definitely more Charity. I do wonder what he has planned for day
two. I hope it leads to more letting go/ opening up by Ashur,he
can't keep punishing himself. Thanks Sue.

About time they went on a proper date!! Dinner on a cruise sounds
so romantic! All they need now is a little slow dancing :) maybe
this is just what Ashur needs to crack his wall so he can start
healing. And I always say, a way to a women's heart is definitely a
