Uhm, I hate to say that I didn't enjoy it very much. the chp. 1-28 were great but the shadow play... I don't now? I found it somehow boring!!! |

oh this was great!! Great great great!! The first time I saw it I couldn't tear myself away until I had read all that was up there. And then I'd always find myself checking up daily to see if there was more. And I loved finding that you updated it and I couldn't wait to read more!!! I love this story, it's so original and just....just...it's unexplainable! It was just so magnificent. I only hope that one day I can write one story that even comes close to this. |

*sighs* business out of the way, *tries to hold back tears* i haven't even gotten close to being half-way through with the second chapter of 'Beginnings' and it's already heart breaking. aren't they ever going to get any peace and happiness?
and i have another question--IF you don't explain it all in this series... *grins* are you going to make a sequel--about the war and what will happen to all of them then? it would so horrible of you to just leave us hanging like that, i personally have grown quite attached to these characters and this fic, i want to see this monster of a novel all the way through... can you? *hopeful gaze* |

I have read a lot of fic in my day, but truly, this is one of the best. There really aren't enough words of praise for this masterpiece you've created, but I'll do my best. You should be very, very proud of yourself for writing more than 1,000 pages of coherent, multifaceted, proofread, entertaining work.
This last chapter seemed a little disjointed, especially the lack of transition between Kikyou's machinations and the visit to the Fujimiya home. I kept expecting there to be some sort of link, but there was no mention of the Captain's gift. I also was hoping to see the conversation between Shuuichi and Aya. I assume that these will be saved for the next fic set in this AU. Tying up loose ends is difficult and although it was a little rough getting jostled in-between some of the scenes, all the unresolved plot threads are tied well enough for you to move on to your next weaving... even the one about the bet between Yohji and Schuldig that I had forgotten completely about ^^;;.
Going back a chapter or two... I felt you handled the battle scenes well, with a minimum of confusion and a pleasing amount of tension. I'm always worried about the 'big climactic scene' living up to the great writing that's led me there. You didn't disappoint.
Overall, you've played with canon ideas and made them your own, revisiting stale conventions and making them interesting again with admirable skill. Ken's transformation and Omi's hidden talent were good surprises, fitting with their characters and melding them with the Bound-mythology you've created. It seems Botan's daughter has taken the place of Aya-chan in the anime, at least for the upcoming fic; and that key difference should make the continuing story all the more unique and unpredictable. I could go on, and to pay you back for all the loving work you've put into this fic, I should... but I'll stop here and say: You've got talent.

This is the best weiss kreuz fic ever...and yohji and aya too!!!...ohmigod...u are sooo good and i luv how you build up suspense and everything...you are a great writer ... all ur stories are great!!...ur the best!!...i kinda hoping that this story wont end but its not possible at all eh....hehehe...eniwei...keep up the good work and hope to see more of your talent! |

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how wonderful I think Shadows is. It is so great! You are an amazing author. Everyday I come home from work and check to see if there is any new updates from “ nekojita chan”, be it Shadows, your Violet Eyes series, or any of your other shorts. I am both happy and sad to know Shadows is almost done. I am hoping that after a break, you decide to continue with the hints you have given throughout and continue it as a series or sequel. Thank you for hours of enjoyment. You really have great story lines. |
