I have a little problem with your timeline. Since we were talking about a five hundred year gap, then it should have had the adventure starting at 1497 since Kagome was from 1997. Looking up the dates to the fuedal era I have found that Terri Bott, who needs to update Coyote Child *growls*, was right in saying it was more like a 450 year gap. The little details in the series point to 1547 being the more appropriate year to be bouncing around. Just a side note. I too thought TLO was great and am eagerly awaiting the next update to Coyote Child but she seems to have abandoned it.

I was supposed to put the chapter I was reviewing in the subject bar? *Looks horrified* Oops! I must have missed that part when I was ducking bullets and flames. *makes happy Buddha face while scratching back of head* Oh well! It's not like I was reviewing to correct anything. And I think I said enough to help you get a general idea of where I was. *Hopes author doesn't get a set of kunai (throwing knives) or chain scythe* Anyway, yeah I understand that problem I found out the hard way too when Mediaminer suddenly stopped being able to accept html format files without ruining them. At least no one flamed me for the formatting. They were very nice in alerting me to the problem. But then for some reason I don't get very many reviewers so I must have missed arsonists. Well going on now.

It was the dreaded talk with mother yelling and daddy looking like he wished he could interfere but he didn't want to end up in the dog house. I'm surprised it took Rare 4.5 centuries to regenerate from a few cells. It seemed fast for those other wolves.

I saw a picture where someone put Inuyasha in a dog cone and had him crying as a very crazed/sadistic-looking Sesshomaru stood over him, dressed as a vet, clipboard in one hand, glasses resting low on his nose, waving a finger as he looked at his brother and the title was "It's strictly for his own good" It was on deviant art somewhere. It was as hilarious as the picture where you see Sesshomaru pulling down a surgeon's mask, same demented look of bliss, while holding up a shot with a bent needle. "Dr Pain" I think it was called but the description went something like, I assure you the procedure will be 100% painful.

Perhaps instead, the blue pack is there to revive Inuyasha somehow recognizing it was just another argument. This also answers the question on how he survived. Uncharted regenerative power. Wolverine would be proud.

Maybe that's why the well was nailed shut when Kagome went there the first time. Also in the first chapter of "the big story" it wasn't immediately obvious that Inuyasha was the guy who walked in and said, "Not without me."

Why is Inuyasha being driven nuts by Kagome's period? Her period, among humans, is supposed to be after the guy has missed his chance to father babies and the womb is cleaning house, so to speak. Heat in dogs seems to be signalling males that the females are ready to make pups, physically anyway. So why is the "cleaning house" bleeding making Inuyasha act like she's going "come hither"? It's like calling the "full moon" the "new moon" because it turned red.
