Wow... Such a touching chapter, I am depressed. It was so worth the wait, so don't let them bug you. I totally expected this great happy ending, but I should have known better. This chapter was beautiful. Thank you.

Where do I begin? Honestly, the last story I read that captivated me this much was "The Lucky Ones" which I'm sure you've heard of. This is so well written, and so thoughtfully compelling that I can easily see the characters step out of their anime bodies and become flesh and blood! The story you've woven makes this relationship entiely believable- and their continued suffering over past losses is so true to life, I ache along with them over the "never quite filled" holes left in their hearts. And I heartily applaud you that you've refrained from the easy path and kept the lemons locked away for now. Both characters are too deep and 3D for them to become carnal beasts in spite of the desire to do just that. And I think you've very beautifully and cleverly kept the characters in canon- the personalities could definately evolve along these lines given the correct provocation. I've never once felt that you've betrayed the characters in any way. Well- like many artists before me, you have completely inspired me to create something based on your fabulous story. If you don't mind, I'll get to work on something based on one of the engaging scenes from one of the chapters (once I can finally decide which one!) and post the completed work on my deviant site. Thank you ever so much for blessing me with such a wonderful story.I haven't read such a story quite like this since ever! I love it when the charcaters hurted I felt the pain when they were happy I laughed!I-I don't even know if my words are worthy of such a story! Thank you thank you so much my new idol.....

You are a great writer....and thanks god you promised not to leave this fic because that will cause your death and i'm sure i'm not the first to tell you that *evil glare*. But really...you write them very, very well...not OC, not too original...just..perfect. I love all your fics about them..so keep going! take your time, just don't leave us forever. I never feel as if I have the chance to tell anyone what happens when I read a story like this. It has no longer existed as a story from a favorite anime, it has evolved into something that touches my very soul, the deepest areas of my heart. Every time these words reach my mind, I am tossed into emotional upheaval because I want to feel the emotions portrayed in here. I have become so inured in the character development of Kagome. I identify with her. I am lost and I am found when I read this story. I am empty and I am full. And it hurts. I hurt when I read this story, because to me it shows me what I am missing. I feel nothing for no one. There is no anchor to my life, no temple that I adhere to. I just am. And it is not a bad thing to just be, but this story reminds me that just being is such a lonely life. I never have the chance to tell you this, for when I feel this, I never have time to tell you. And maybe I'm a sadist because of the pain I feel, but I cannot turn away. Just as Sesshoumaru cannot turn away from Kagome. Thank you.

Oh man...I'm gonna die from the mood swings. First, I was laughing hysterically at Sesshoumaru and Kagome's "morning after" antics and ended with bawling my eyes out (literally, my glasses are all tear splattered now, thanks!) over the heartbreaking last scene. God, this story is good...

This is a truly AMAZING fanfic... the best I have ever read in fact. i stumbled upon a picture on devart and there was a glowing review along with the picture and out of curiosity i investigated, I was doubtful at first, but the way that you wrote the first chapter simply capitvated me. I laughed out loud in places and wanted to drop some tears in others. this is such a deep story, the character building you do makes thouroghly 3D characters. you brought them to life before my very eyes. I love your style what else can i say? you have just received a new rabid fan and another glowing review.

I couldn't bring myself to give you any less credit than you deserve for this fic. It has become my favorite. I truely hope there are more chapters in the making for this one because I would love to read more of it. See how the battle goes, see how the two of them develop, etc. Anyway, I really admire your skill and I love your style. It really appeals to me opposed to the vast majority of the fics I've read. When I was young I didn't like to read very much, then I saw a movie that I liked enough to try one more time to read a novel, and I changed my life because of it. However as a result now I can only see the beings in the novel one way...as they where in the books. I think you've just done that for me with this story, I'll never be able to read another story about Sesshomaru and Kagome unless its written by you...So I'll see you next chapter when I can find a better way to say I love this story.

Not bugging you to update, really I'm not (except that I am, LOL). You rock, I LOVE this fic, you have achieved LEGEND status with me (and many others, I'm sure) in the world of InuYasha fanfiction, and I'm neon, day-glow, watermelon-tootsie-roll-pop-wrapper GREEN with envy...but no pressure to update. I'll still read it if it takes a year for you to update - except PLEASE don't, LOL. Your Sesshomaru is incredible, and Kagome is just what I'd expect her to be as an adult. Super easy to identify with (except, you know, we don't have demons chasing us, and don't get to check out eye-candy like Sesshomaru everyday). Anyway, I'd claim my evil twin wrote this, except I AM my evil twin, LOL. Sorry to bug you, but thanks so much for the great fic! Its mix of history, romance, and suspense is amazing, and the plot is very original!!! Great work! =^-^= Shaynie M.
