Fun chapter. I really thought he would finally give in and kiss her or something, he was pretty scared there. You are doing such a great job with the characterization of everyone. The layers are adding up and forming such rich characters. I love the "respect for the spoon" bit! Too funny. I keep thinking back to what a great journey this has been. It is amazing how you have taken them through such crazy adventures. I read your authors page and saw this was 71% finished and I was sad. It has been such a great ride I don't want it to end. BUT all good things must come to an end and I will be eager to see how the end turns out. Will Kagome die? Will Sess have to fight all over again? Will they end up together? Oh well, no use worrying about the future, time to enjoy the present. Thanks for sharing your awesome story!

Great job, as always. I just spent the better part of today reading chapters 29 and 30 to get caught up. Kag is really starting to develop a sense of who she truly is instead of the naive young schoolgirl she once was. Fuyu is becoming much more than a crabby old crone as well--gives a person something to think about. And poor Kazou--I'm surprised Sesshy didn't smell Kagome's blood MUCH earlier and try to relieve Kazou of his head for that one! Can't wait to see who reaches in that last few centimeters first! Keep up the good work!

Oh my, call Sesshomaru 'Cleopatra' cause he's definitely living in the land of DeNial. That was such a sweet scene with the hot rocks. (I will refrain from making jokes about getting your rocks off.) When he's being tender it makes me all squishy inside. I melted completely when he went tearing off after Kagome because he smelled her blood. Great chapter - you're spoiling me with such wonderful work! Lavender

Buwah...I am at a loss for words. This chaper felt distinctively like a turning point -- lots of worldly wisdom and revalations being thrown around. I immensely enjoyed this chapter and am constantly amazed by the continual growth of the characters -- HoTM never feels stagnated to me. Every chapter is simply getting better and I'm just awed by it all. Amazig work and by far one of the very best Inuyasha fics I've read.

GIRL, that was an awesome chapter! I'm so glad I had something wonderful to read first thing in the morning. The interaction with Kagome and Kazuo was very engaging, and his reaction to her wound was surprising and was a good indication that you are really fleshing out his character well. The scenes with Kagome and Sesshoumaru and their inner thoughts are getting much more cozy, ebbing on some future hotness that I just can't wait to see. Although, you're quite a tease with those scenes, you know that? And thank you SO MUCH for dedicating this chapter for me. I was stunned and feeling beyond words on how much that means to me. You're awesome and you kick-ass, and you're still be my favorite IY fandom writer FOREVER! I love your writing style - subtle humor, romance, action etc. Why don't you publish some books? I'm suprised there aren't as many reviews as I had expected for this story. This story deserves A LOT more reviews. Please keep writing! I LOVE YOU!

HUH? The status line in the description said this was a completed story...but, it really didn't seem finished since the last sequence was Kagome getting the drunken samarai to be her teacher. (and as the page kept scrolling to the end, I was thinking, well, hell, how's she going to conclude the story this fast- either Sessoumaru's gonna kill her or that damn samarai.) Very exciting story, anyway.

I just got to chapter 20- OK, I gotta hand it to you- slipping in dragon guts is MUCH funnier than the fart jokes I suggested in my last review. Plus, did I mention how glad I am that I didn't start reading until it was complete? 'Cause this is WAY too good to wait 2 weeks for the next installment...

Well. This is a masterpiece. I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews in light of the fact that this story is so highly touted and seems to be on everyone's fav. list. Of course, there really isn't much room for constructive criticism here- what on earth would you improve? The humor is pretty subtle (ex: Sess. worrying that his kimono might be ruined while he's in chains in the ocean). Maybe a few crass fart jokes might improve this- JUST KIDDING! In your author's notes, I noticed that you seemed worried about using authentic details like the symbolism of colors in the formal outfits. I wouldn't worry since that depth of research is probably lost on 99.99 percent of readers anyway. Anyhow, you've managed to craft a gripping and original story here minus the usual extremely boring and overused plot devices. KUDOS AND ADMIRATION! Oh, one more thing- how about an original fantasy fic? I'd love to see what else you come up with.

I dont know how this story only has 74 reviews, it is by far the best story I have read on MM.org so far. I absolutely love how you write the characters and it is a very original plot. Please continue as soon as possible!!

Another great chapter....doesnt matter how long you make it, the more to read, the better :) Love how this ff is going, and how Seshoumaru is fighting his feelings and Kagome too. Love it, love it, love it. Everything you write is good. Can't wait until the next chapter.
