AARRGGHH! IMHO, I wish she hadn't convinced him to just have "meaningless sex." I know, it wasn't truly meaningless, they are in love. But I was kinda hoping that would be the final straw and somebody would tell somebody ELSE how they were really feeling and finally the truth would be out. But NOOOO, I guess you have some more angst in store for us. AARRGGHH! Keep it up! ;-)

Omg, that chapter was so sad. They love each other! Why don't they both realize that? *sighs* I love this story. I know you've had problems with people stealing your stuff or complaining about it and everything. But I love it. It's really good.

Oh... I wish that wasn't how her first time went. :( It seemed so empty, so... hopeless, so final. *sigh* Though I'm thinking this WILL have a happy ending, I still find myself really, really hoping for one. Great job, Sueric.

Hi sue as always, a ten. Yes only you can write good angst and boy what a good tv soap this story would make! lol. I've been reading the reviews and I now know why this story makes me so sad. I guess from the other previous fics I never saw Gin as so innocent before this story. As Inuyasha's daughter, I always thought that Gin would seemed so direct, knowing, and strong. She just seemed like the one to not take shit from her brothers and would give it back and be direct. It just seems so sad that neither one of them (cain or gin) can say what is on their heart. Is it that they think that they would be burdening the other if either one of them spoke the truth about their feelings? I just wish one of them would just say it first about their love for each other. Yah that's me happy ending sally. Oh well anyway you got us thinking and involved again with your great stories. Thanks again for another great thought-provoking story. J.

It's so sad! I just keep wanting to bash the characters around a little till they get a clue! I was rereading Purity 3 and noticed a AN you left about the twins' youkai voice. You said that Ryomaru's voice was more like Kichiro. I finally picked up on the reverse that when Kichiro first met Belle, his youkai sounded like Ryomaru. Kichiro's voice cracked me up a few times and it was just cool (to me) that it is like that! I'm really digging this story and can't wait to see how it ends.

hey i finally found you and got caught up. wow. i still say you absolutely amazing!! i am on edge waiting to see how things go with cain and gin. i can see him giving up being tai youkai to stay with her, but maybe you have other goals in mind. BTW how is your father in law?

the story is going pretty well, belle and kich have become my fav. on a side note I disagree with how you protrayed Gin from Purity 3 to Purity 4 In 3 Gin was fiesty, didn't take shit from her brothers or cousins and was not navie like a 9 year old. Was excited to date and wasn't acting afraid of men or guys(like you have her in this one) and was bright funny and witty Which I loved and was excited to see her as a strong female hanyou in her own story as i think many were. in 4 she has her blushing over everything when she's a 25 years old woman! I'm 25 and nothing in the story would have made me blush after age 15, and come on she grew up with two prevert brothers it doesn't even make logical sense that she'd be so in the dark about everything, has her dressing like a 10 year old to that a 17 year old Belle has to show her the way(and they are not sexual naive over in Japn either! so that is no excuse.) Gin is weak in this story and I was just truly shocked. Kagome was never this weak and neither was Inuyasha I thought you liked canon stuff and well if she's suppose to be like Kagome then I guess Kagome is OOC too, Gin as given up without a fight. Nor has she fought in this story really was that to make her more all female acting? I mean she is still a demon....I don't know by downplaying that role (which again you didn't in 3) she again seems more timid I've been reading this water down verson of gin for 70+ chaps also where is kaugra? she barely says to words

Of all the Purity stories so far, this one has made me think the most. I love the clash between Cain and Kish, because they're so similar in so many ways, but they can't stand one another!!! So for Cain and Gin, I suppose this is an instance where too much choice is a bad thing? I'm more inclined to think that it's a matter of choosing without knowing what one needs to know - if only Gin didn't hide her feelings so well, or if only Cain hadn't tried to hide behind his honor. There's honor in living for one just as much as there's honor in dying for another. That Cain had started to call his daughter "Belle" meant enough that he somehow accepted her as a mean of keeping Isabelle alive. I used to think that Cain's too old for Gin, but I'm starting to believe that Cain could really be quite young, at least mentally, despite his 200-something years - he's certainly not as clear-minded as he could be - and this could be because of his experiences too. Sueric I'm so glad that you're still posting your stories for our enjoyment - I don't usually find fanfics that make me think this much. I hope also that all's well at home, and that your inspiration continues! As one authoress writes, appeals for more stories needs to be directed to the "Story Council."
