Rain fell from the sky in torrents, soaking anything and everything in its path within seconds. The sound of the rain hitting the ground and trees in the meadow would usually sooth and calm anyone, but its charm went unnoticed to the woman kneeling before the giant tree in front of her.
The girl from the future wept harshly into her hands, the heart wrenching sobs barely audible in the hard rain. She raised her puffy blood shot eyes to the tree in front of her, the place she first laid eyes on Inuyasha and freed him from his imprisonment. “Why? Why did you do this to me Inuyasha?” she cried, her body shaking with the force of her tears.
