I've been following this on FF, but recently popped by here and found that there was a chapter here that wasn't on FF. Anyways, please tell me you're going to finish this story!! This chapter was so heart breaking... with Bulma finally coming to terms with her feelings for Brolli... and him dying... AHHH! I'm enjoying this story very much even you you update once in a blue moon lol Good plot and excellent characterization. Well, except Bulma. I understand why she is the way she is. She watched her family and race wiped out. And lets face it. Shes characterized as a loud mouthed slut in 99% of the fics. I dunno why though...at least not the slut part. Anyway. What I cant FEEL in her is intelligence. Sure shes determined and conniving but somehow intelligence doesn't come through. Especially in the last chapter I read. She became hysterical and a weak crybaby for what? Because she didnt get answers? Of course they wont tell her that they want to break her. No one in their right mind would. She should be one step before them, but she just breaks down like a weakling. Meh. Its a good story just the girl is a bit OOC. Keep up the good work and LOOK! Its blue moon!!! Update! XD

Wow, what a sad chapter. Fitting, I think, that Brolli dies to save Bulma, though. And I'm glad that it happened after she came to realize what he meant to her. This is the sort of fic that makes me want to leave a long, drawn out review detailing just how good it is, but leaves me so awed that I really have very little to say. I am eagerly, rabidly awaiting your next chapter.

I can't remember which chapter was the last one I read, so long ago, but I know I haven't read this one, and what a particularly good chapter it was!! I'm continually struck dumb by your characterizations and your will to hold to those characterizations. Even in his softening, Vegeta is still so twisted, and Bulma is still so strong in hers. I know I would be so tempted to just let them love each other without having to deal with such things, but that would make it crummy. :D Let me say again, how glad I am that you've decided to continue RIB, and that I'm around to read it.

Bulma is kicking ass, I love it. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a possibility of a relationship with Bulma and Vegeta or Brolli. It started out so negative and malicious, they each had malevolent reaosons for attempting to win over the other person, some of the bitterness seems to have gone so maybe there is a possibility, but at the moment I wouldn't say that Bulma loves Brolli, I think she cares for him, reluctantly, but her emotions towards the saiyans were so tied up with vengeance and hate that any chance for something beautiful to blossom was smothered. The same with her relationship with Vegeta, although I will say that I think there is more chance merely because he is the one who proved to be the true challenge, the one challenge she couldn't conquer. Also I think Vegeta arouses a hope for things she didn't think she could ever have, love, companionship.

Yes! it seems like Bulma's gonna come through in the end, I hope she succeeds. Interesting having Raditsu's family as the deadly squad, but before I thought you mentioned that they died in the destruction of Vegetesei.

That was such a sad chapter, especially the moment when Bulma first visited Vegeta and he was paralysed from the fumes with no recollection of who he was or whoBulm was. That short conversation was so innocent, and pure it made me think, man if they met under different circumstances, a different lifetime, But such a moment could not last as Vegeta gained his memory back and it all came crashing down. Another poignant moment was when Bulma admitted defeat to Vegeta that he had broke her, she seemed like such a different person, the Bulma in the begining of this story and the Bulma now are quite different, it just shows what she's been through. Also, I wonder what happened to Brolli.

Wow, I don't think I'd read this chapter before, I can't believe what happended my gosh, Vegeta in this chapter sent a chill down my spine, I could feel Bulma's fear, especially this line: "Something in his eyes made her stop: something she had never seen in Brolli's eyes, or even in Raditsu's. It was a promise, Bulma decided. There was a promise in his gaze that went beyond threat; it was wholly lethal in itself. He never did threaten with words, though. Only with a look - a glare of absolute contempt for her disobedience. Bulma looked away." The way you write, decribing the characters thoughts and feelings their gestures their intent (sometimes hiding their intent) is just riveting. And oh my gosh, the way it just switched in the end I did not expect that at all. What has frieza done? And how will this change the game, it seems it has taken a turn that Vegeta and Brolli did not expect. Was Bulma 2 steps ahead all this time? Or maybe underestimating frreiza was the biggest mistake Vegeta could have made.

I'm reading this again before I start the new chapters, and biy am I loving getting sub,erged int he political intrigue and conspiracy. The way you depict Vegeta, my gosh, he has even me confused, what are his motives what does he want, and how will Brolli play into it? I have a feeling he knows more about the resistance and Bulma's involvement, but just how will this play out. This story is so exciting, I haven't read it in a while, so it's like starting afresh again. I'm still not sure if I want her to end up with Vegeta or Brolli, sometimes I think Vegeta, because he's always my faourite, but now I wonder if either of them will be with Bulma, the games they are playing are so malevolent, with so much at stake that I wonder if there is a future in store.
