Good chapter. I was glad to see that Emory wasn't as miserable in his job as he first appeared to be; that should make things somewhat easier for Kagome. And the fact that Inuyasha apparently wanted Kagome in close proximity to him and went through so much trouble to make sure she was comfortable speaks volumes. He obviously doesn't hate Kagome nearly as much as he says. That isn't to say that Kagome will have an easy time with him; Yasha has a bit of a sadistic streak, lol. But the situation with Kagome and Inuyasha also isn't nearly as hopeless as it first appeared to be. I definitely look forward to seeing more of this play out.

I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I haven't been this intrigued by an epic fic in a long time. Most of the ones I start off interested in just don't deliver in the long run, but this one is clearly well thought out and carefully executed. You know what your writing, who and where its happening, and I think you already know how it ends. You also know where you're going with it and as far as I've seen so far, everything you write is there for a reason that will likely be addressed in the future. For example, the oaths. When you first brought them up, I thought they were just there as window dressing, but you surprised me (no easy matter, I assure you) when you brought it back as a way to stick Kagome and Inuyasha together. Very slick. Your zeal for improvement and joy in just writing is refreshing. You remind me of what it was like to post my first fics :). Okay, so all the praise is done, so I'll just point out what I did notice. As you are probably aware there are a few smatterings of spelling errors throughout the chapters. Those are pesky to hunt down and really aren't all that distracting though. And that's about all. I look forward to reading more. Keep up the hard work!

I've been reading this for a couple of weeks on a horrific p.o.s computer that has had the 'typing option disrupted' (ie: I broke something) and can finally leave a review for you. If I'll wait five minutes per page to have the thing load-up, you have not only made an intriguing plot-line, you've done it with both grammatical and aesthetic prowess. It's not only exciting to read, you fully understand the characters in such detail that it changes an AU story that could have any characters in it, to a Kagome/Inuyasha AU that is original, entertaining and still holds the character's 'personality'. Hat's off to you and I eagerly await the next chapter. Kudoes and cheers to you and your creativity! Thank you again!

I read this story on AFF. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate your painstaking attention to detail. Your writing is so good, there's no way I could give you any useful advice, except to keep up the good work, and update soon!

EXCELLENT story. Your plot is original, and your characterization is wonderful. I especially love your depiction of Inuyasha, although Kagome isn't far behind. And now that she's going to be his personal assistant, things between them should definitely get more intersting. Yash seems like such a ungrateful little cretin, but it's just because he's been hurt so much, even by Kagome while she was undercover. So, it is understandable why he's so bitter. I just don't think that it's going to last very long once he's in close proximity with her. But, all indications are that he's going to kick, scream and curse all the way down as he falls for her, lol. I defintely look forward to that. I can't wait to read more.

Hey, I was reading your story and it was so good that I absolutely HAD to leave a review. (I'm kinda lazy so I usually don't leave reviews unless stories are really good.) Your plot line is amazing, and the characters are so beautifully portrayed, especially Inuyasha and Kagome. Somehow, through everything that Inuyasha has endured, I empathize with him. I wish I had strong hands that could break things like that! ^-^ hehe. But anyway, please continue writing, good luck, and I look forward to your next chapter!

Excellent, very well written and the pace is perfect. The way you set the scenes and all the details allow you to see everything in your mind's eye without getting tedious. I'm enjoying it immensely and it has become one of my favorite fics along with "Phoenix Blade: Time Lapse". Keep up the good work!

Wonderful chapter. I loved the scence where Kagome just bursts into the room and everybody stops what they're doining. I can just imagine the embarrassment, lol. Keep up the great work. I cna't wait for the next chapter, and to find out just what Inuyasha's going to make Kagome do.

Your story is really good. My heart just plummets when I read he is such a man whore though. I just know he is going to torture her with that and it makes me so...uggg. But I think the way he is written says much to what he has been through. He feels accepted and loved through lust. Its something to fight the lonelyness I suppose he feels. This is truly going to get very interesting and I will stick with you til the end. Great job!!

Wonderful chapter to read as usual. You really have me intrigued on what Inuyasha will have Kagome do as his nanny of all things, haha! I love the characterizations of the characters and am anticipating your next chapter already. What is a true surprise is that you don't have more reviews for your delightful story. That will definitely change once readers catch wind of this great read. Until the next chapter, keep the creative wheels turning and keyboard typing

Lol. Just...lol. When InuYasha told Kagome to suck him off, I choked on the soda I was in the process of swallowing, and burst into gales of laughter. I think he's an asshole, but not entirely without justification. I hope Kagome brings him to his knees, the jerk. :) Anyways, there's this story called "Synthetic Twilight" that gets updated all the time, and for a while, I would open it eagerly, thinking it was your story because of the title--it reminds me of your description of the underground club scene--it drives me crazy! But now I think I've gotten it figured it out. :) I loved the chapter--especially Kagome's mischievious uncle and his bodyguard, the sly things. And I can't believe Kagome didn't flee when she saw InuYasha in the heap of bodies. I'm kind of curious about the role of jealousy in this society you've set up. Obviously, the morality of this city is different from the widely-accepted standard. However, do people tend to pair off into couples after they've had their fill of the scene, and if yes, is monogamy the preferred behavior? Would a couple go through agonies if one (or both!) of the partners caught the other cheating? I'm curious as to how that dynamic would work. Well, please keep up the great work! I can't wait to see your next chapter. P.S. I'm not understanding why you get so few reviews. Some of my favorite fanfics, which tend towards the well-written, get the fewest reviews! Like "The Phoenix Blade: Time Lapse." I've been following that since the third chapter, and the author didn't get a substantial amount of reviews until much later. :( I don't understand how all the shittiest high school fanfics get all the reviews, and ones that show imagination, originality, and care with plot get so few. Not fair! Okay, so this is probably the longest review I've ever written, so I'm going to end it...now.
