The energy you can generate between these two characters jumps off the pages (I printed them). I think it is fantastic that Sesshoumaru cannot resist Kagome no matter what the logical part of his brain is saying to him. The danger of the situation adds to the flavor. Somehow it is so satisfying that the incredible looking female inuyoukai is less desirable. Perhaps that is a rooting for the underdog (no pun intended) kind of thing. I especially enjoy the fantasy/mystical element you add to your intimacy scenes between Sesshoumaru and Kagome--the interacting of Miko and Youki powers. To my knowledge, no one has quite described the event in such a spectacular way. Jean

A Happy New Year indeed!! This was beyond brilliant and so sweet. He really gave kagome something even more powerful to fight over. Since she is reassured by him in the best way. And I'm curious as to what he will do to make sure she either fits in or leaves safety. Since i know if Inuyasha comes to get her all hell will probably break thru. Interesting. But keep up the great work. ^^

Oh, the intrigue! I sat and read through the whole thing! I can't express how thrilled I am. I do hope that you continue the story. Of course, there is the lemon, then the angst, and now the political genius thrown into the mix. I'm sure that Inuyasha won't be able to claim that he is Kagome's champion and then she will be in a very bad position. Sesshoumaru can be a cold sonofabitch. I love Kagome's last retort. She would rather dress in rags than be his whore. Oh wow. You have done such a wonderful job. Please, do continue. ^_^ Snow

AHHHHHH! yeah we couldn't leave out the little temper tantrum now! because we all had to see her jealous so then fluffy can make it all better..or try to. stubborn dog he needs a pincer collar..and a fluffy pink tu-tu. mwahaha but aside from my rantings magnificent! Another wonderful chapter that has me just drooling for more!

That dark seductive look while he said that..oh your good. very very good. his answer was perfect as well. brilliant! and i loved Shaeda! i hope she is in the story more. Oh wow, this went better then I had anticipated. I had myself prepared for Kagome being used and ridiculed and possibly her getting injured due to her fiery temper but she came off as highly intelligent and repectful (but not to the point of butt kissing)and well in control of her actions, as well as her words. It was packed full of entertaining and intriguing action. I loved each and every new character as the youkai council and community gatherings are rarily written about and when they are most try to skimp on the who's who and mainly just use characters that are of necessity. Bravo for going the distance and creating others who are not just the four territorial leaders who would not dare to cause this type of fighting over one miko. These guys had alot of hatred and fight in them and you gave Kagome the chance to prove her worth and intelligence to all of them. I also adored that you "stole" Shaeda from your other fic. She is worth using again and again. The more you use your original characters in other fics make it easier to believe that Sesshoumaru does have a life other than Jaken, Rin, and Ah-Un. It gives reason why so many people who hear of his name fear him even though they never saw or met him. And that is all I should say for now. I'm off to bed. "Violation of Honor", "Merry Christmas, Mr. Taishou" and YOU all had a new posting for me. I am in a very happy place right now. I thank you sooo very much from the bottom of my heart. There is something about this story that I just love. I admit I am terribly frustrated right now as things are not going too well. However, it looks like Kagome might be able to talk her way out of this one. I thought her speech to the lords about the bitch who she had fought previously and defeated, was great. I'm sorry I have not reviewed every chapter, but I am diligently following the tale. Jean.

haha that last part with kagome whinning was hilarious! At least she got a couple of the lords on her side. Shes the only person that could ever do that lol. Another great chapter though! and i can't wait for more.
