great update... like you said everything is coming in full circle... the past is catching up to the present... and after that will come the future... so that's why the prologue started that way... the events happening afterwards when kagome comes back from the past will be interesting... update when you can... please and thank you...
 Title: Such a fulfilling story!

This is the first time I write a review for your story (not that you haven't noticed), but I have had the intention for some time. I found about you in a recommended reading list posted by doggieerlover. She is one of my favorite InuYasha fanfict writers, and if she gives a recommendation, usually the material is worth reading. Well, I just can say I could not stop reading, I was so taken by the first chapters… and I did cry, a lot. I don't think I have cried that much because of a fanfiction before. At first, the chain of events seemed to be really weird and Kagome's behavior (seemed to me) was quite unlike her. As the story goes on, everything starts to make sense, and gradually all of it makes a lot of sense. I enjoyed the fact that the plot did not give away a lot of the details, leaving me with this kind of sweet frustration that makes me always want for more. I loved how you linked the butterfliy-youkai situation with Seshomaru's longing for his little Rin, and how he gave the ultimate clue. It was very clever; I really did not see it coming! I was surprised, and I like to be surprised! Ah, and I also would like to congratulate you for your time-tangle. Is not an easy thing to develop a story with a time mess and get away with it. I can say (maybe proudly?) that I never got confused by the time comings and goings. I think you made it very clear, it just takes a little more attention than usual, but in this case, it was not a burden. Finally, I'd like to say that being a scientist myself; I could understand Kagome's decisions quite well. I'm Latin American, so please excuse my writing flaws. Please keep with your story, and update as soon as possible!

I feel sorry for Kagome just starting to realize how much pain she had to cause to Inuyasha for 500 years for them to be happy now. I am glad they worked many of their problems out but now Kagome has to say good-bye to her feudal family and that won't be easy for her to do. I loved how much Inuyasha has grown to be a man of the time, this Kagome wouldn't be happy with the immature Inuyasha that couldn't fit in with the time. I loved how Inuyasha took Kagome for a "ride" on his bike, that was cute. You are tying all the loose ends up well, I am just waiting for the box and the reunion and final explanations with the modern Kagome and Inuyasha. Of course along with the final goodbyes and trouble in the feudal period.

It's rare for me to find a fic that I've enjoyed reading so much. It's powerful in its presentation, and you've made me feel the heartache of both InuYasha and Kagome as they moved towards finally finding each other again. I loved the way they each tried to be the better 'man' so to speak by wanting to give up the other so that they could be happy with their new partner - and both were so wrong as usual. Too quick to make assumptions without actually talking to one another. I'm so glad they finally got things worked out, though Kagome now has the difficult task of going back through the well and seeing the younger InuYasha once again, and he has to be reminded of the heartbreak he went through at that time. I look forward to your next chapter, though I suspect we're in store for some more anguish before all is said and done.

Just found your story, and it is beautifully heartbreaking. The characterizations are spot-on for Inuyasha and Kagome (especially how easily they can misunderstand each other and both of their stubborn streaks), and Kazuki is such an interesting character - sort of an Inuyasha with a vastly different past, but both very caring about their friends and loved ones, a deserving opponent of sorts. Also, had to chuckle about fleece and Gortex as optimal lab wear (comfy and practical, particularly for Canada, I'll agree)! Glad Inu and Kag are on the same wavelength for now, but somehow I suspect there's more heartache ahead based on the prologue (loved that line - "I-I don't want you to hate me," full of foreshadow). Can't wait for the next update!

I just finished reading your story... and I'm hooked! :o) It was very good! I am really nervous to see what happens when Kagome goes through the well again. Something terrible must occur for it to ruin their happiness now... I love how you've incorporated all the characters in this story too. You've really done a fantastic job! I am definitely adding this to my favorites. I can't wait to read the updates!!

I don't mind in the least that you skipped over Kagome's anger, she never stays angry with Inuyasha long anyway. She blows up fast then gets over it quickly and so does Innuyasha. I am very glad they worked it all out and got truly together. Now she just has to drag the conversation about her marrying the "man of her dreams" and how they had to let go of each other in the past. I hope the future Inuyasha is waiting for her to come back and comfort her when she steps out of the well. At least now they can have children safely. I can't wait to see what happens next. And now I am even more curious about that box.

Oh yeah, I like sweet, too! And this was very well done. Glad they 'reunited', got the Kaz issue out of the way, and discussed the Butterfly problem. Lots of things wrapped up/smoothed over, all blended with lovely 'snuggling'. Yep, I like.

*fans self* Is it a little hot in here or is it just me?? That was GREAT. :) Exactly how I think they'd make-up, too. Give them time to get to know each other again... and then InuYasha pounces :) Very nice... I can't wait to see how this works! The week-long visit in the beginning... that was her visit to get Butterfly Youkai DNA, I assume? He's gotta ask her to marry him, first!

Wow, I just stumbled across this and it's really, really good! I'm a REALLY picky fan-fic reader, so I promise you I mean it from the bottom of my heart (It's only one of 4 stories I have favorited.) I can't wait to see what's going to happen next... I have plenty of guesses, but for the last hour, I've gone back and forth on the last chapter to the first, now I see what you mean about paradoxes!!! I'm really intrigued... I'm a MAJOR time-paradox nerd so I really can't wait to see how this works out. Major props on the InuKag continuation (that's really the only way to go, ya know), and I hope to see an update soon!

Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while... goodness knows after those last couple of explosive chapters that popped up since I've read it last, you deserve a thumbs up. Unfortunately, the baka that I am, I forgot to 'favorite' this so I'd be reminded to check it once in a while. So, I only got to read the next couple of chapters after this showed up in a Recommended Reading List. Wanting to reread the few chapters I've read, I checked it. Imagine my surprise at the numerous chapters already posted! Heh. So here's an extra-long review to compensate, although most of it was due to my (fascinating) story. If any part of my review doesn't make sense, well... I'm not very coherent right now. Wow... that last chapter made me choke up. That one line - "It was for you. It's always been for you…" - was brilliantly done and so typically Kagome. The painstakingly drawn-out drama, miscommunication by the truckloads and reluctant fluff is very well done and very typically them. Ack, sometimes you make me want to strangle Inuyasha, Kagome, or both of them for being such bakas! But that's okay... it's the sign of a great drama story in my case. Kaz is such an amazing character as well. If I didn't think Inuyasha and Kagome were meant to be together, he would be the only person I'd condone for Kagome to even think about dating. I'm a hopeless InuKag shipper, I guess. He's such a fun, amusing, multifaceted character and I love him to bits! I hope you update soon because I don't think I can stand this cliffy for much longer. This is honestly one of the best InuyashaxKagome angsty (long) stories I've ever read and very in character. Thanks for writing and sharing it. ♥
