Gah! My stupid DSL went down halfway through reading the last chapter, and I waited for over an hour last night for it to come back on while I fiddled around with other stuff 'cause I wanted to review! So I did read your latest chapter last night even though I'm just reviewing this morning. Anyway...figures Kagome got the job now that she doesn't want to be separated from Inuyasha any more, LOL, though it sounds like it's still a kick-ass job and would be beneficial for her and her career. Decisions decisions... I'm sure whatever happens in that regard that it'll all work out, though, so I'm not worried. What's up with Izayoi seeing Inutaisho's ghost, though? Did she really see his ghost? If so that's cool, though also worrisome, under the pretense that he could be trying to warn her about something. At first I had thought that maybe she hadn't really seen him though, and that it had been a trick or would later be revealed to be a trick of somebody's and that someone is screwing with her, but now I don't think so, I bet you meant for that to be real. Which like I said is cool, I'm just worried that Inutaisho knows something we don't... The whole thing with Sango and Morimoto is coming up soon, so I'm super looking forward to seeing how all of that goes down. And also all this talk of a mark of intent, yay! I had thought that Inu biting her renchaku mark before was possibly him placing a mark of intent without telling her...though then again you haven't clarified that it wasn't, LOL, but even if he was just biting the mark without doing any magic to it because biting it feels super awesome for Kagome and so that's all he did, that's cool, I'm still stoked that talk of marks of intent have come up and hopefully it'll get back to Inu in one way or another that Kagome let it slip that she wouldn't mind wearing that mark. Never a dull day at Takahashi Group of Companies, LOL. I missed the scoreboard too! Everything is kind of back to normal in a way, and yet it's so not with all of the new changes to Inu and Kag's relationship and the drama with that whole Kikyou/Morimoto thing still unresolved. Wow...four new chapters at once! I guess you kept yourself busy while MM was temporarily glitching. Going to review one chapter at a time, so so far, gotta say that birthday party scene was cute, especially the way Inu was noticing how Kagome looked like a mommy while holding Kanna. I loved that the prank at the end was a bucket of rose petals and not water; I had been cringing along with Kagome at the end there that it was going to be a nasty prank, so that was nice to see. And awwww...an official request to be official. Can't wait to see what happens next! But I don't have to wait! Wow...I was not expecting another update so soon! Yay! I also saw your a/n you added to the previous chapter, and I'll admit, I did have kind of a 'wait, when did he get naked?' moment reading that lemon, but the entire scene was so wonderful that I just didn't care and presumed that it obviously had to have happened at one point or another, LOL. But back to your latest chapter. That phone conversation was hilarious, and I was not expecting that mini-twist, or I guess it's not really a twist, of Kagome and Sango spotting Kikyou at the mall, but that was a fabulous addition. I loved Sango's comment about them 'so' being CSI, LOL. And I'm also glad that they kept out of sight because we can't risk Sango's cover being blown if Morimoto would recognize her later as Kagome's friend...unless, of course, he did see her and we just don't know it yet. Guess we'll find out. Either way that worked out because then Kagome bought that necklace for Inuyasha, and I loved his reaction to the gift. I guess that answers the question of what you give the guy that has everything, with the answer being nothing, if no one has ever given him anything before. How messed up is that? But it made her gift all the more special, and yay! Was that a mark of intent there at the end? *Does happy dance* I think it was I think it was, and even though Kagome had asked him to always run that sort of thing by her first from now on I don't think she'll be too upset. Yay!!!!! Beautiful update! I didn't even notice the lemon wasn't in your style so your friend did a good job trying to make it match, and I loved how you did the declaration of love, and I loved how they were both still playful afterwards and joking around and teasing each other. You're totally right that too much seriousness would have made them seem OOC for them, considering how you've already established their personalities to be. You've got me wondering if those bites Inuyasha planted on her were just love bites or something more, though it didn't seem as if he'd infused her with any of his youki at the time, and she hadn't noticed any strange marks while taking a bath so I'm going to just assume they were harmless love bites until if and when you say otherwise. I loved how at the very end they started talking business, Inuyasha's company would be screwed if it weren't for Kagome and I'm glad he knows it. All in all fabulous update! Awwwwwwwww...good update! This chapter was so sweet! That surprise lunch date was over the top, in a good way, and I loved that he was serious the entire time and didn't ruin the mood by pranking, and that he reflected on how much crap he really has put her through. Looks like our little boy is finally growing up. There's nothing wrong with still being youthful and playful, but there most certainly comes a time when enough is enough. Awwwwwwww...thank you for this chapter! That cat food prank was funny, LOL, but then the WAFF afterwards was totally squee-worthy. Just what the doctor ordered; I was so excited to see you'd updated. I love that Inuyasha got serious again for a moment and shared what was in his heart. Now that that's behind them, it's time for him to try to own that scoreboard!
