Sorry to hear about your grandmother, but I'm happy to hear that this story's still going strong and will be longer than originally anticipated! I love this new addition of the demonic 'promise ring' bite mark thing. I'm relieved Inuyasha's not actually going to Canada, that wouldn't have been fair to do to Kagome if he really loves her. I also can't say I blame Kagome for telling him off in that maybe she would have loved him but not now after this. I do think he really did do it because he really does love her and it's his way of saying he really seriously does want her with him, but there is the key word, serious. He needs to grow up, just a teeny tiny bit. Love his personality and sense of humor, and I kind of agree with Yura, it is funny, in a way, Kagome's plight, but I know if I were her and just barely trying to deal with such a cocky bastard I used to hate and might possibly be starting to fall for, him pulling this stunt would've royally pissed me off, too. LOL, perhaps it can be one of the things Kagome eventually looks back on and laughs about later. However you continue the story from here on out is fine with me, I'm super looking forward to seeing what happens next, though I must admit a part of me is hoping Kagome can actually resist the pull of the mark no matter how crazy it makes her to the point that she's actually torturing herself, just so that Inuyasha can maybe, maybe get serious for two freakin' seconds and apologize for doing that to her, and then she can make the scene funny again by totally collapsing into him in utter relief and horniness since she hadn't seen him in a few days, LOL. Like I said, though, I'll be happy with whatever direction you take this. It's your vision, not mine. Update as soon as you can! |

I love the idea of the renchaku; kind of like a promise ring before the actual engagement ring that high schoolers might do. It's refreshing to see somebody making up something new for the fandom, and hey, if it catches on and you start noticing it in other stories you'll have the pride of knowing it was your idea. And speaking of...that was pure evil genius! Inuyasha's really gonna get it now! But poor Kagome in the mean time! Ah! Update soon! LOL. |

That was another really great chapter. I think your dialog is put together very well, even if there are a couple of qualifiers that are unnecessary in places. However, they are few and far between. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and knowing that everything is about payback will make the anticipation of the next chapter even sharper. Can't wait! |

Those last couple of lines had me grinning like an idiot. I have to wonder what excuse Kagome is going to give him. Smiling sweetly, huh. That is scary. I do feel a little sorry for Inuyasha though. ^_^ I hope the deal with Sango pans out and that she doesn't put herself in danger. Love that Naraku and Ryuu...(can't spell his name)is on their side. They should be rather cunning. Hm, with a recording, there might not have to even go to court. That would be nice. ^_^ |

Aptly named chapter title, now that I see that scene at the end there, LOL. Over all though, excellent update all the way around! Things are certainly falling into place with all that nasty business, though it looks like the next chapter is going to contain quite a different variety of nasty business. Can't wait! |

Great new chapter! I love the vindictive streak you've instilled in Kags. I also really like your characterization of Yura. The dialog is really good too. I enjoy their banter and can easily see these characters saying these lines. Keep up the great work! |

A little short, yeah...but 'short and sweet' I'd say. So glad you updated! And I really like how this chapter goes, just them loving each other and relaxing and not thinking about all the ominous crap you have planned for them just around the corner. Keep up the great work! |

Hey WB -- great new chapter! I noticed there were a couple of misspellings and missing letters, but I wanted to point out that you have Inuyasha's shirt unbuttoned twice. He undoes it when he flops on the bed the first time and then Kagome works on unbuttoning it when she crawls on top of him. Other than that, it was a hot scene and great movement forward in the story. Can't wait to read more! |

Congratulations on your wins! You definitely deserve it. Really like the new chapter. We're not gonna get sucker punched with that paternity test, are we? Nah... *crosses fingers* But I really like what you did here, Kagome deciding to ditch the second half of work with Inuyasha to get him out of his funk. She's got it bad. Looks like she knows it, too. Looking forward to the next update! :-) |
