It is not often that I find a story that is this good. I shall eagerly await the next chapter. Fanfiction needs more authors as good as you are.

Well, I skipped the icky parts, as I don't read NC17 material, but... I had no idea you'd updated until you mentioned it. 'fter all, it wasn't on FF.net. Ah well. Very interesting chapter. One has to wonder- would the jewel not eventually recover energy, as all of Kagome's powers are unleashed but unable to go any where? It would seem plausible that the power would store itself in the jewel, so as to avoid harming Kagome. I was wondering (again) about the reactions Kurama might have upon finding Kagome and Hiei in the hypothetical future. I've decided that I don't think he'd jump to conclusions, but would very carefully wait to make any judgments. He knows that Hiei can be evil and cruel, but that Hiei is honorable. ...I was pleased to see I'd pieced out part of the story right- Hiei hates humans in part because of what Midoriko did. Who could hate a pure creature? I would think that betraying such a person would be one of the more abominable things possible. It sounded as if Midoriko herself were unsure about her decisions, and that she was trying to convince herself she'd done the right thing- I definitely got the impression that she has been working on her own. One other thing I was wondering about was her scars. The healing Ryuji did didn't heal them, if I recall. I am curious to see just how far you'll take the scarring. Presumably some of them would fade, but... it'll be all that much harder for Kagome to heal, when it's engraven into her body.

Yay!!!XD I'm so happy you got the chance to update! Damn, that dream of Midoriko was fucked up!O.o I see both points of the argument and agree on both sides but I find it funny that Hiei would concider fighting a dead person that probably wasn't even there... at least he was agreeing to help Kagome on her way to freedom. That wont be like what, another few chapters I bet, huh? That demon leader is planing some big, I can feel it! Well, from the way I feel, I feel like I got a cold from my little cousin.XP Which really sucks. Besides that, I have a feeling Hiei might get caught trying to feed Kag from starvation. Maybe he should get caught, or not, I don't know, I can't tell and my head is starting to hurt. @_@ I'll review later cuz it's so late already. C'ya later!
