I am loving this! Yep, it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for. They have the most volatile tempers. I loved his youkai's reaction to her temper. I love their youkai voices. They're so great! Another awesome post from you, Sue! Ah, this story is so awesome. I check my e-mail hoping you've updated. That's what my e-mail is for! Fan fiction! Anyway! I have to go study. Cain has an oswari and it works a lot better then inu's. 1 little tear from Gen and he's begging for mercy. I like Gen's temper I guess she is not so sweet and inocent after all yasha 101

O.O Whoa. Yeah. I...um...um... Whoa. I have no words. That was just... I agree with Cain's youkai. Definitely in trouble! Hoo boy...and Kich isn't much better. :) I loved that he saw that tender moment between Ryo and Nez. I haven't quite clicked with Cain/Gin & Kich/Belle as I have with Ryo/Nez, but if this chapter is any indication, the clickage is coming. :D

Hehehe, I was getting a little worried that Kichiro had fully reformed and gotten stodgy from working in the medical field. His professionalism was very dominant, making his Ryo-sounding youkai voice all the more comical as it tried to goad him into admitting he was interested in Belle. His irritation and subsequent outburst while confessing his confusion to Nez was a re-emergence of his 'bad boy' attitude and I was so happy to see it. He's going to need that confidence to counteract Belle's sassyness. Oh, I anticipate the fireworks on the way. -- o.O Wow! Gin has a temper! AT LAST! She is so kind and generous, just like her mother...we all tend to forget that also Kagome has a temper to rival InuYasha's. I fondly remember all the screaming/shouting matches that often ended with a virulent "Osuwari!" and an impact crater in the ground filled with a chastized hanyou, face down in the dirt. Cain is soooooo luky to not have a subduing spell on him right now; She'd have used it. And then, quixotically, Gin turns the waterworks on. Instant remorse. On both sides. Yup...said it before...Cain's a goner.

Ah, Gin's youkai voice becomes quite clear in this chapter 8. That definitely answered my question from earlier. And as insightful and informed her voice appears to be...is it just me, or does her 'voice' seem to be just as clueless as our innocent Gin does? Maybe it's only quietly leading Gin forward instead of hitting her over the head like Kich's voice is happily doing to him. With her new independence, Gin is experiencing life without the "Fortress of Daddy" in the way. She having to make her own decisions and re-examining her past behaviour. This is a good thing for her growth. Cain's behavour, listening to his 'voice' and even agreeing with it...then flagrantly defying all advice and chasing His Gin did not have me rolling as I would have expected. I was caught up in the intensity of his protective and possessive anger. Normally I would have laughed at his expence, but I think there is too much foreshadowing of the comming angst. Cain's heart wants to claim Gin, Gin is receptive, Cain also has a promise his honor demands that he keep, even his youkai is warning him away from the union...I see too much heartache ahead to laugh.

I think Cain and Gin are my second favorite couple. I love the interaction, the talks between them, the talks they each have with their youkai. Of course nothing tops Inuyasha and Kagome but I love this story and Kich and Bella are a wonderful couple too. Thanks for all the wonderful updates. And thanks for all the wonderful stories you write.

Thank you so much for updating so quickly, makes your work all that more enjoyable,tho your work is worth the wait anyways, hehehe...a question what is the time line between Purity 3 and this one? Ok,ok, the more Cain acts up, the more it cracks me up, and makes me wonder just how PAPA is gonna take him. LOL. Makes me wonder if InuYasha finally gets to some serious Tetsusaiga shoving, lmao. And BTW, in Purity 3, is it Belle thats been saying things to the wrong ones about Ryomaru and Nez being in Kichiro's office? Just wondering. Keep it up, excellent work!
