Sue I absolutely adore this chapter. I especially love Gin's youkai; it's like the voice of a wise woman. Her youkai reminds me of kindness, gentleness, goodness and patience, kinda like a fresh baked apple pie. I can't wait to see what it makes of Cain's jealousy if she gets the opportunity to see it. Cain is just so cute when he's jealous! Kich and Belle are going to be sooo much fun to watch, their chemistry is just electric (cliché I know, but I'm not an author so it was the best I could do :). I honestly didn't think I could love your OC's or your writing genius anymore than I already do, but you continue to amaze me with your creativity and writing abilities. I know I always say this, but I mean it each time: Thank you so much for sharing your incredible gift :) ~frankie~

interesting chapter. sooo....here is what i've been contemplating for a while now; if Kich mates with Belle, that makes Cain his father in law. if Gin and Cain mate, that makes belle her step-daughter. soooo....cain would be both kichs father-in-law and brother in law?? and if cain and Gin mated; wouldn't, inadvertantly, that make Belle kich's step-neice? ...... i love family ties. LOL. it's great, as always. i've been figuring out similar (and yet not) situations in two stories i'm writing and am seriously stumped. the story is amazing, as always, sue. i love the twins and cain is just as adorable (for...a inu no tashio). you know...i try to see sesshoumaru running aroudn like this and it's just lost on me. hehe. great story!!!!

dang its obvious that they have feelings for each other ha...but the 4 characters will probably have a problem accepting that...great chapter ha it wuz funny how cain was getting really pissed and watching gin and montaro's every move but kinda sweet? lol idn but great update

I'm not quite sure why, but this was one of my favorite chapters you've written recently. Not that your chapters are ever bad, but this one really made me smile. The image of Cain crouching down to stare at the two of them through the peephole while Belle tries to figure out whats going on is just priceless. I'm really curious to find out how things are going to play out considering that Cain's yokai is actually working against them.

I loved all the interaction with the youkai voices in this chapter. Especially when Kich's tells him that Belle has a nice rack. And whoa....Cain's already feeling possessive of Gin, thats gotta tell him something even if he doesn't want to admit it. I loved how the youkai voices gave a glimpse into the inworkings of the characters. The voices are like the annoying friend who is always right. Wonderful chapter Sue!

Truly enjoyed both chapters very, very much. Loved the humor with the art class and the cake fairy quip. Now I'm wondering what happened to poor Isabelle? And poor Cain? I can't believe he would kill his own mate. Unless it was a terrible accident-like if he did Marking her the 'old way'. And Gin! She wanted Cain to intervene for her and she is too sweet and polite to mistreat anyone! But I'd love to see what happens when she gets angry. OOh look out! She's not Kagome's and Yasha's daughter for nothing. Quick question, does Cain have a 'vestment' or 'manifestation' of his power and office like Sesshoumaru and Toga? They both have Mokomokosama so I was wondering if Cain has something like that since he's a full-blooded inu youkai, too. Also, you mention Aiko's baby having one. Thanks for the update!

Is there any way to give you a 10++ for enjoyment factor? In a summer art class I was taking (I don't remember why... I can't draw stick people correctly) we did an anatomy drawing... I was pretty cruel... but then again, he really DID end up being a stick figure on paper, since I can't do anything else... :) This is just a wonderful story. I loves it muchly! :)

Wait...when Gin said her 'grandpa' gave her that cup, did she mean Kagome's Grandpa? 'Cause the one of her pa's side is dead and we don't know what happened to Kagome's dead-er...Dad... (three bucks says plothole). And what did happened to Toga's sisters? One got married, but then they fell to the smae place Kagome's father did. Maybe they're having a nice tea party. the cake fairy >.< That'd make a fun fanart. And how long do we think 'Big Boy' is going to last once he meets InuYasha...or Ryo...etc. He's a model, they'll kill him. Great chapters

Awesome story, Sue. I bet I will get in troubel for this but about the "This" thing, someone explained that to me so i know!! *ish proud* It's like the "royal we" They think they are important. Cain doesn't use it becuase the great and powerful Sue hasn't had him do that. We just have to keep reading to see if we get to giggle at him for saying "This Cain" heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Back to work. . .

LMAO!!! I can't help it, these are so funny!!!! Poor Duckie. She is and amazing author though!! Can't wait to see her new pictures. You have another reviewer named Kaitlin!?!?! There are so few of us!!! May I ask what her pen name is? Just because I'm curious, I don't plan to send her emails or anything. Send your beta's my sympathy! They put up with so much and rarely get any credit or praise (reviewers fault not yours)or if they do I haven't noticed. I have a question, and the answer is probably so obvious I'll feel silly for asking, but I noticed that Sess and Toga both refer to themselves as 'This Sesshoumaru' or 'This Toga'... I really don't understand that but I've read enough fanfics to assume it pertains to something lost in the translation from Japanese to English. So my question is, if Cain is the Inu no Taisho of America, then why doesn't he refer to himself that way- 'This Cain' ? Is it because he's American and it's a strictly Japanese thing? Did I just answer my own question? I lied, I really have two questions. The second one is, what exactly is going on with Cain's Youki? From the other Purity fics, it seems like the Youki identifies the 'mate' and hammers this fact home to the conscious mind. But Cain's seems to do the opposite? The whole 'run away! run away!' That's probably some part of the plot you're planning on expanding on anyway so you're more than likely not at liberty to say. Oh well, it's a really interesting point. Finally, this is an excellent chapter. I especially liked making a connection between- 'Zelig-sensei would be much more ... impressive' and "It was bigger. But that looked weird"- I laughed and laughed. And the ending, oh the ending. I print your chapters out so I can go curl up on the couch and read them, and I was sitting in the living room with my family when all of a sudden I shout out "She belongs with you, Baka!" Now my family worries about me. 0.o Play on, Maestro.
