Evan is just a little upset. It gives pause as to why, even tho he said he really didnt want Bas' position. Interesting. I do have a question about their training tho. Didnt InuYasha train Bas as well as Gunner? Or was it both him and Ryomaru? And who trained the rest? I knew it was InuYasha who trained the twins, Gin and Toga: but did he train the others as well. He dont seem like he would be really satisfied if someone else did it. Anyways, great chapter and update when you can.

Wow... I don't like Sessh/Kags fics much(Cuz I just can't stand the way most people write them) but this one-shot was the bomb! I did cry a bit, but I love that one-liner of Sesshoumaru's at the end... ^^

I feel really sorry for Evan...I mean, I know he's bad...real bad, but so much is expected of him. I guess he had to make himself different just so that he didn't always feel like he wasn't measuring up to either his father or brother...or the rest of his family for that matter. Plus, I've noticed that he's not real close with anyone. With the exception of his mom and living with Jillian for awhile, it seems like he's isolated himself from his entire family...it seems like he's never included with everyone. I wonder if its because of his brother, and if so, what happened to make them drift apart? I don't know, but your killing me Sue!! I feel so bad for Evan...but I have hope because Valorie will make him happy...right? Ooohhhh, I'm getting all depressed...sniff... must go huggle Mikio...sniff...

Okay so am I on the right track, Evan is jealous of Bas? He seems to be even more since Sydnie came home with him. And if so that means that Myrna (did i spell that right) might prove as an distraction. Have you given any thought to starting a story surrounding Evan and Gunnar? I would love to read one. I hope I'm not intruding on your masterpieces just thought it might be an idea if you were looking for one.

Great chapter, and very informative. So much seems to be weighing on Bas right now, wonder how long it takes to get things right for himself. Interesting. HMMM...update when you can.

cute...very cute. I guess ALL of the male relatives want to try the catnip trick for themselves! I can't wait to see what drove Bas and Evan apart...because no matter how bad evan is, I can't help but love him for his goofy behavior!

I think I understand whats going on with Bas and Evan. I know what it's like have soo many years between siblings, me and my bro are 7 years apart. And even though Evan was close to Jillian she was a girl so it wouldn't be the same. Add on Bas is the same age the cousins not Evan so he didn't even have any cousin to pal around with. Evan and I sound a lot alike, now I can completely understand the distance between Bas and Evan. Thanks for taking this chapter to explain Bas and Evan's relationship a little better, their relationship was one that was bugging me. Well wonderful chapter Sue I can't wait to read the last chapter to see what happens next.
