Cute chappie, and it's nice to see you back, C-note! I love InuYasha in this. I like how he pals around with them, and is worried about their well being. He's such a sweet thing underneath it all!

I am glad to see you back and updating the fic. Nice chapter with some interesting info and character development. I liked the insight to Sesshomaru and how Inuyasha is thinking instead of just reacting. He also seems to be open about his feelings toward Kagome then in the original story. Please update soon.

So happy to see the story continue! It's so nice to see the story progressing. Even if this chapter was just "filler/dialogue" as you put it, it was still a great chapter, and a necessary one. And it was nice to see the old flea Myouga! He may be a coward but he always comes through in a pinch. I'm interested to see what will happen to the West after Inuyasha and Sess have their showdown. Will Inu have to take over? Or will he give the job to someone else? Can't wait to see what happens! Thanks for the update and welcome back!

This is an excellent and refreshing piece. Very original concept, very well presented. There are a few punctuation and grammatical errors, but that is to be expected. Well done! I found this fic boring after Inuyasha regained his memories and yet insisted on treating Kagome like youkai property right after he said that he wasn't going to continue treating her like that. This sounds quite contradicting, doesn't it? To think that the very detail that made me read this fic was the fact that here Inuyasha was more dependent on his demonic side than his manga counterpart. Original move at the beginning, but after that specific part the story, this dependence becomes too weird to keep you rooted till the end of the plot string- if there is any remaining, that is.

Many people here are complimenting you about how good your story is, how you portrayed the characters perfectly, YAY NO NARAKU (this point is a hit), great original storyline and much much more, but I don't think that many people noted the other stuff that lurk around this fic. And most aren't that pretty. I had faith in this story. I loved how you gave the Inuyasha storyline a complete different perspective, I loved how Kikyou STAYED DEAD (seriously, she MURDERED the main plot ;;) and I loved how there was more focus upon other demons. Especially upon their demonic behaviour, who STAYED acting like demons with their demonic behaviours and did not transform into some sort of wishy-washy-bashy version of themselves, like what happened to many demonic characters in the original manga. *coughkougacough* And not all demons are animalistic beings with supernatural powers named demonic for the series; for Christ's sake, I'm glad someone else noticed that. But now... plot died and remained dead. There's no other way to put it. And it has been for a long while now, somewhere before the group met Miroku, perhaps when IY turned human was the last plot hint. After that-- KABOOM! The story completely went downhill, from original and creative to HUMP HUMP HUMP with all might and glory. This story completely lost its point, focusing more upon the lemons rather than the actual plot. I like reading lemons or limes once in a while, but this story focuses so much upon them, that its like reading those cheap summer books that focus and depend only upon those random-never ending-out of the blue-not over yet? sex, which for the settings and writer is A-OK; but for the story this takeout just not make any sense at all. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy that you won many awards out of this fic, and that you take all of your fics seriously. Your other works aren't that bad to try reading through, even though they too have their respective flaws, but that's a complete different story. Frankly, this fanfic dissapoints. Kudos for realistic ideas and more feudal behaviours found here than in the manga, but apart from these points, nothing else makes this fic worth to read more than once I'm afraid.

I have been putting off reading this story until I had enough time to do it in a short span of time. I am regretting that decision now. This is a great story and I hope that you have not abandoned it. You did make quick work of Kouga, Kikyou is staying dead and there is no Naraku but it doesn't matter. It still captures the attention and leaves at least this reader wanting more. You have Sesshomaru as a perfect enemy, and it is believable for his character before Rin softened him. And since she isn't here there has been no softening. He is as cold and heartless as he appears in the beginning of the canon story. I love how you show the tension of having him as a ruler and how the others might not mind having Inuyasha, or at least Makoto, as the new leader. Please please please PLEASE finish this story. This quality of originality should not be lost.
