OMG I honestly thought you would never return to his fanfic but
when I saw it was updated I Squealed!! Gotta admit, this chapter
does nothing for my former dislike of Miaka. How one woman could be
so self-centered, selfish, and just plain evil is beyond me. How in
the world she ever thought she was in love is beyond me. Poor Yukio
was too devoted for his own good. I really really hope he finds
someone who will take better care of him the second time around
instead of always having to give himself to her and her happiness,
or lack thereof. Looking forward to the final or final two
chapters!!

I was so thrilled to see an update - I actually checked in just a
few months ago to see if anything had changed and was sad to see
the story still languishing . That chapter needed to be written and
you did it so well. It moved me to tears in the last quarter, and
was heart rendingly real and beautiful. So sad, too. Thank you for
committing to finishing you excellent arc with TLO and CC. It has
been a gift to fanfiction.

I was blown away when I saw this post. I didn't think you would
have time to finish this after all these years. It was a wonderful
chapter and really did provide closure. I never understood her
reasons for what she did, so thank you. It is wonderful to see your
voice again.

Ayumi? It might be in the earlier chapters but I don't remember.

I'm so happy that you updated! I've been a fan of The Lucky Ones
universe since you published the first fanfic back in the early
2000s. I love the depth of personality you give to all the
characters especially Inuyasha, Kagome and Yukio. I greatly enjoy
the focus on Yukio and developing his story. I hope that he finds
happiness with Emma and pups of his own.

I can't believe this is being updated after so long! I never forgot
this story, even after all these years. I'm not even in the
inuyasha fandom anymore, I moved on years ago, but I'm really happy
to see it getting towards being completed. this story has stuck
with me, I remember it at the strangest times. I'm glad it's being
continued. Thank you for picking it up again. I'm going to go back
and read it over again, to make sure I didn't forget anything, but
I doubt I did. It's that kind of story.

The beginning's pretty exposition-heavy, and the deviation about
dreamers doesn't seem to contribute much. There's a couple of
capital Bs in "Bombs" that don't look intentional. The bombs were
dropped in August of 1945, or does seven months later seem like
"right after" to Yukio? OP THERE IT GOES. Miaka's memories are
killer. I'm not sure if the "and Yukio was actually a perfect
husband" is meant to make her sound ungrateful or if she's just
acknowledging that he held up his end of the bargain. The fact that
she'doesn't. say "and Yukio loved me" may be telling.
"Cowardly" is an adjective, not an adverb, even though it ends in
-ly. "Painkillers" is one word. Neato. Once it got going this
chapter was very absorbing.

so happy you're adding to this again! it's a really great sequel
and since i don't usually bother with stories about OCs, that's
saying something. you've given yukio life in the first story and so
i feel i know him like a canon character from that. hopefully he is
freed of his pain and allows himself to move forward. ♥

I have read this countless times all we way through since 2008 and
I have to say that the fact this isn't finished is one of the
saddest things. I love this story, I love these characters you've
created, and I wish I could see it through to the end. I've spent
hours imagining what would happen next and what these characters
would do, but it gives no justice to what you would weave if you
updated. Regardless of whether or not you ever come back, I want
you to know how much I appreciate both this and The Lucky Ones.
They are truly two of the best stories I've ever read and you are
an amazing author for making these characters flow so well into
this universe that they did not exist in initially as well as
making me feel for them.' Thank you, Terri. I hope you come back
