It doesn't seem that anyone has told Sess that Toga's Youkai did pick her.. I could have sworn that Toga told his mom... Sango and Miroku's 9th or 10th generation?? maybe more... I'm glad she read the notes her mom left for her, and that she understands -sorta-what it means.

Title: Epiphany Reviewed By: DarklessVasion - not signed in On: February 01, 2005 10:26 CST Comment/Review: Suddenly Sierra's disease hanging over her head reminds me of Miroku's Kazaana; death is certain but 'when' is unknown. Trying to live, to live happy, isn't wrong just because you may not have the same time promised to others...Heck, you can get hit by a beer truck tomorrow! Why hurt the ones you love by not allowing them give you the love they need to give. -- Miroku lived with his curse most of his life; the knowledge of it, the reasons of it, and only a slim hope that he manage to kill Naraku and break the curse before it claimed him like his father and grandfather before him. Though it still frightened him, as it should, he still managed to smile, make friends, and find love. Though he made 'marriage' conditional to the breaking of the curse, he didn't deny himself companionship. Definately a lesson there for Sierra. I think that Uncle Yasha might be just the ticket!

Something about her just makes my hackles rise every time she pops up - I think I'm jealous for Sierra, LOL. Surely this instinctive need to strangle the woman can't be wrong. If she makes a move on Toga, I swear I'll catch myself snarling, LOL. Thanks for another great chapter! D.V.

Did they leave the contract over the weekend with the camera taping the office? I can't wait to see who's behind the thefts and why. Maybe it's the girl. It does give her an excuse to be with Toga. Thanks for the great chapter.

So you're saying there's a chance? A chance for Kagome and Inuyasha to go to Chicago? hahahaha. hmmm. Who would be trying to set Kari up? Inquiring minds want to know!!! I can't believe that Toga didn't at least get a punch in, or even defend himself against Seirra's brother. And what was that? A glimmer of hope? Did Sesshoumaru perchance feel a bit of sympathy for his son? Or was Akio just making it up? lol Maybe the whole family should just hop on the next jet over-- it's always fun when everyone ends up at the same place because chaos is likely to happen-- hehehe. Once again-- LOVED IT! --Aitu

Reviewed By: notzathros On: January 30, 2005 12:36 CST Comment/Review: Still so sad! If Toga can't be with his mate he'll die, right? Someone needs to have a talk with Sierra and get some sense into her head. Over the past few months I've had three friends and/or neighbors suddenly drop dead, two from heart attacks and one from a botched surgery for a deviated septum. They were all under 44 so it goes to show, you just never know. She needs to stop putting herself in her grave over something that won't affect her for years. Ya get what ya get so enjoy it while you can.

Title: God! The angst is smothering me!! Reviewed By: DarklessVasion [MediaMiner Member] On: January 30, 2005 12:13 CST Comment/Review: Poor, poor, poor Toga...ditto for Sierra. Someone needs to intervene. They are too clueless and selfless to figure out for themselves that even a short life together is better than a long one alone. Toga even let Brent throw the blame for the break-up at him. Probably to let Brent blow off some steam at the unfairness of his sister's condition (Toga knows that, short of taking some kind of weapon to him, Brent could never really hurt him...not physically) Humans may be weak compared to Youkai, but they are also emotional powerhouses; ready to explode at the least spark. Toga has had the unique influence of his human/half-human relatives to develop his better understanding of 'emotions', moreso than many youkai who remain isolate. He's hurting so bad, just as bad as Sierra is. --- The mystery of the missing contracts will be a welcome distraction for Toga. -- Great Chapter!

Title: I didn't want my hunch to be right... Reviewed By: DarklessVasion - not signed in On: January 29, 2005 19:47 CST Comment/Review: There you go...making me cry again. --- Knowing they will be together in the end doesn't help right now. Not knowing what they will have to go through to get there is agonizing. I won't speculate, you have your plans and will reveal them when you're ready. I can still hurt for them in the meantime. *cries* Poor babies!!

Reviewed By: Kyonarai(not signed in) On: January 29, 2005 19:00 CST Comment/Review: sorry about that last review, I was in a bit of an emotional shock. I get really in tune with the characters whenever I read a well written story with as much detail as this, so I can almost feel Toga's pain. I know that feeling all to well, you just want to run to the edge of the world, where no one can see you, and no one can hear you screaming your lungs out because you're so torn up inside. I felt that way when my grandmother died. I've never been able to figure why I get so attached to stories, I just do. but then again, I'm not exactly normal either, I have ADHD, bi-polar, and occasional depression. I think of stories constantly in my head as well. Well anyways, I adore this story, and I think you are an astounding writer, all I can really ay is, keep up the good work.
