I really feel for him. With nothing to look forward to, life has lost that 'zip' that makes living worth while. I'm also surprised at how...calm the father and son reunion was between Sess & Toga. Looked like Sess was just as reluctant to argue or fight as Toga. I hope that Toga doesn't take too many risks on this little 'mission' his father has given him. Sure it might pass the time and there's nothing like a good fight to get the blood pumping...but there is also very little right now that will inspire him be cautious. I'm worried. --- Great chapter!

ooh. wonder what this hunt thingy is. hope he doesnt get hurt. haha. ryo's such a trouble maker. hm. is the 3rd movie canon? because in the movie, inuyasha's dad gets killed by a human right after inuyasha's born. and in chronicles, didnt you say it was a demon that killed him? so, which is true? sorry for the questions..heh.

*relaxes* Glad to see Sessy's returning to the better senses that we all know and love him for. Still, I really think Toga needs to tell *someone* why! I mean, how else is he going to figure out how to fix it? (Cos dammit! It must be fixed!) Ergh, stubborn, stubborn. Oi! And that Ryo! *smacks own forehead* Who raised him??????? I swear, he only paid attention to Daddy when Daddy was being bad! Anyway, great chapter, looking forward to some Toga ass-kicking and hopefully that happy ending.

Okay this is turning out to be a freakin sad story. Is it going to be like this through out the rest of the story. Or is it going to get better. One other thing what days do you update this?

its beautifully designed to show the love growing, and the bond strengthing between Toga and Sierra.... then to show the utter pain of the two of them being ripped apart and each slowly dying inside bc of the emptiness they feel from the lack of the other one being there ... this ache that just builds until you don't think it can hurt anymore ... and your readers feel the love and the pain just like characters ... i love this story and it's one of my favorites even without a big bad flashy enemy like in meta ... the enemy here is so much more devastating bc you can't just kill it to make it better ... this is truly a great story =)

Wow. That was heart breaking. You can just feel the misery seeping out of everyones skin. Was Brett actually going to take Toga's side? Or was I horribly mistaken. Well, it seems as if Toga is going downhill fast. Come on Kagome, we all know that you want to interfer so get on with it! Start getting in other people's business. Hmm. I wonder what Sexxhoumaru will say when he learns that Toga is back. I'll give you $5 if he calls himself "Sexxhoumaru" infront of everyone. hahahaha. Anywho-- loved it to death!! My heart aches for both Toga and Sie. Now that they're on different continents it's going to have to take something big to bring them together. *eyes Yasha's sons suspicously and then thinks about Toga and Sie's separation and begins crying; sniffles* At this rate, I'm going to empty my tissue box. I read the story-thus-far in one big gulp last night, and really enjoyed it. You've created an number of very sympathetic original characters within the framework of the Inuyasha universe, and a terrific obstacle in the way of Toga and Sierra's happy ending. I'll be interested to see how you resolve it. Just a minor niggle, regarding the language issue--there a few places in the story where Sierra overhears some bit of conversation between Toga and his family members, and understands it--the "your bitch is on the phone" comment made by his cousin, for instance. Wouldn't they be speaking Japanese with each other, rather than English with Japanese thrown in? In which case Sierra would probably not understand what's going on. (I know you clarified this point at the wedding, when you mentioned that everyone was speaking English out of courtesy...) Anyhow, great job and it's just the editor in me that nit-picks minor details in an otherwise wonderful story...

Do not, I repeat, do not read this chapter with a sad song playing in the background: You will cry your eyes out **still sniffing, where's the tissue box...** Will there be light at the end of the tunnel within the next few chapters (not talking about the preview in P3:F 'cause it does not explain how they end up together)? But in the meantime we need divine intervention here people! Somebody must to do something somewhere to bring them back together before Toga lets himself die of a broken heart. Great chapter Sue! You know how to stir our emotions! MouF
