I think that Inu Yashas anger at the end of the chapter was a little bit out of place... I mean, he just went through this big realisation thing, he was beginning to see things clearly, and through the eyes of others... So being mad about, well I get that... I would be too, I just feel that he would have been a bit more understanding... But I dont know, Im sure got something in store for us, since we only saw the tip of the ice-berg as far as the next scene(sp?) goes...

I have seldom found a good fanfic that doesn't take months for new chapters to show up. That is one of the things I love about this story. It also doesn't have wild tangents that don't apply to the plot. But yes- purely awesome.

I think it depends on the youkai parent of the hanyou on how tough their skin is. In general youkai have tougher hide according to the manga. That's why Sango's weapon is a sharpened youkai Bone. But since Kagome is hanyou like Naraku is, I dont see any reason why her skin shouldn't be tougher. If you think about it, she's transformed into a hanyou but in the exact oppisite way as Naraku. An evil man trades his soul for a stonger body, the purest woman offers her body as a shell to save another life. Yet both become hanyou. Very interesting. Sorry for not reviewing a whole lot i try not too cuz if I do, I get attached and and most story's end prematurely. I don't want to get disappoint expecially since this is such an amazing story thus far and exceptionally written. So I am now saying I am prementally attached. Oh and if you think of Crickee from Mulan I understand. A lot of folks here on MM.org think of me like that. Please update soon, I keep checking my inbox for an update. I can't help but wonder, what happened to her hair? Being submerged up to her neck in acid, one would imagine that her long hair would also be in that acid. And hair being as fragile as it is... I sort of imagine her as having a very frazzled bob cut right now, with the ends being at roughly the height she was submerged to in the acid. I also wonder about her ears and her eyes. If she was getting splashed in the face by the acid, some could easily have ended up on them. And I would imagine that the acid would be blinding, since there was an episode where Sesshomaru's acid temporarily blinded Inuyasha. And the skin of the ears is so thin. At the very least I sort of picture there being bald spots in the fur on them until it grows back in.

That youkai reminded me of a snake. I hate to think of what would have happened if she was human...I can see why kagome would doubt at what inuyasha says to her. She can forgive him but she can't forget what he said.

Hey, I've been following this story for a while. I think it's amazing! Best story with this sort of plot I've ever read, and I've found my fair share. I'm really enjoying this. You definitely have talent. Just me being picky, I don't mean anything by it: Surprizingly, the most sensitive part of anyone's body is the lips, second is the genatalia. Can't wait for the next update!!^^

I also agree with the hanyou skin= tougher 8D, as little white kitsune said, Inu survived in the peach man episode. as for the most sensitive skin, I won't disagree that that would burn like flaming marshmallows, but what about her eyelids? your eyelid is the thinnest section of skin on your body, wouldn't the acid have done an awful number on those, and it would hurt like hell to have them open and such? XD inu being scared of Kagome's mama is lol.

Wow, you honestly took me by surprise by having her really get eaten. o_o And as seen in the Peach Man manga (not the heavily butchered episode) Inuyasha was able to survive inside stomach acid until he turned human, so I do believe that part was "canon" as it were: Hanyou skin is definately tougher. Me? Squirm at this level of graphic-ness? xD Hell no! Not after playing Drakengard for PS2, where the Gods are giant naked babies who eat people LOL! And am I the only one sad that two siblings are gone? o_O I was getting rather fond of them... As for Kagome's thoughts about the bath smell, I can now just see Inuyasha crapping on the floor like a puppy, HA! XD P.S: Methinks we are ready for another Kagome ear-rub? =3

Oh, our dear knight in bright red haori saved the day again! I wouldn't expect anything less from him, and from you! Very good chapter as always. Now, did I miss something? Is there anyone out there who doesn't really like this story? I guess I can't judge people for their tastes. All I can say it that this is one of those stories I would not hesitate to recommend to others hoping that they would enjoy it as much as I do. That being said, I wonder where Inuyasha is headed now. My guess is that he's planning to give a visit to dear old Totosai for an item to seal Kagome's demon blood. It would be a good way of apologizing, don't you think?
