I forgot to add these, my favourite lines from this chapter: As soon as the cry left her lips, Kagome regretted it. How could she possibly have called out his name after all the angst he had put her through in the past few hours? What the hell was wrong with her, shouting for the man who had ripped out her heart and stomped it into a puddle of goo? But it had seemed so natural, calling for her savior, the one who had always been there when she really needed him, albeit in some cases more promptly than others. Was their relationship already so fractured that he would forsake her in her hour of need? (cleashee(sp?)) The youkai smirked. “Kagome, was that her name? Don't worry; she's in my belly.†Inuyasha could only stare slack-jawed. No...Kagome can't be… He couldn't even think it. She can't be gone! She has to be alive! (oh my god.. the youkai is the wolf from little red riding hood!!!)

owies... InuYasha can be lovely at times... but he can be an utter idiot at other times... I love the whole I can kill youkai and not bat an eyelid but Kagome's mama is the most creepiest!

Although Inuyasha's apology was good, the fact he left randomly was bad. I don't blame Kagome for still doubting him, although I hope he proves himself soon! Keep up the awesome work! ^_^

just to let you know, though I loved the drama of the chapter, but I'm cryin on the inside cause I thought for sure this time right, but no, once more the bait is dangled and then taken away. Lol, all joking aside I can't wait for more, its fun reading your story everytime.

Well, I for one love your story! I think the detail in your recent chapter was fine. I honestly was expecting worse. It was a very good chapter! In all honesty, if a person does not like your story or anything you have in it they don't have to read it, skip ahead or whatever. Anyways, keep up the good work!

I read it, I loved it... Now I'm just curious as to how you're going to fix it... I don't think Kagome should instantaniously forgive him, after something like that, having her faith so deeply shaken that she was even weary of her other friends, I don't think its even possible to forget, let alone forgive. But I'm afraid that's what you're going to do, he'll save her, and she'll forgive him. It will be as if it never happened, please don't do that. Let her forgive him ofcourse, but don't let her forget what he said so soon. After something like that I would be devistated, even more resolute, but definatly devistated.

yea yea yea, he was mean from the heart like he always is, I'm sticking with Sango on this one he definitely needed to be slapped. He's got his chance to make it right though in the next chapter and you know I'll be here writhing at the end of this rope you hung us all from on this evil little cliff.

Perhaps I should rephrase myself in my reaction last review. I completely understood Inuyasha's reaction, however was thinking exactly what Miroku stated: there's no way in hell Inuyasha would let anything happen to her, and she is strong enough to understand she has people who accept her as she is. I knew Inuyasha was lying about well, lying. xD I kept thinking what a colossal jackass he was to try and threaten her with sending her away, when what that could ultimately amount to is her being on her own for all those things he's worried about TO happen to her. Anyways, it looks like this youkai is going to help them face each other sooner. =3 Can't wait for the next chapter!

I warn you now that I nitpick, so bare that in mind. Begin rant. Use my imagination? Use MY Imagination?! But... but... *sputter* that's not fair! I already said what I thought it looked like! (see review on 1/15/09) How can you not know what it looks like when you said in your author's notes for Ch 13 "I purposefully left out a description of the dagger because nobody really got a good look at it. Kagome saw it had a silver hilt, but that's it. More will be revealed later, I promise." That very heavily implies that you HAD a clear idea what it looks like! If you hadn't said that it never would have occurred to me that you were purposely leaving out a description in the first place, which of course made me obsess on every detail you did reveal in order to catch whatever clues you were trying to leave. GAH! I've been trying to solve a puzzle that didn't even exist! *pant, pant* End rant. Well now that that is out of my system... Do I get anything for having been you 100th review? Congratulations on that by the way. In response to your newest A/N: I can't say what any of his other fans would do given such an opportunity, although I suspect many of them would try to molest him. Personally I almost always take his side on most of his arguments especially with Kagome since more often than not she acts like spoiled little brat. And I usually give him the benefit of the doubt since I do keep in mind that he has had such a hard life, but all that being said he often behaves like an ass, and when he does something so earth shatteringly stupid as he did in last chapter it's only reasonable to want to hit him upside the head for it or, as in my case, want to respond for Kagome. But in truth running away is much more in character for her than confronting the problem. Kagome is motivated by her heart more than her head. You touched on it lightly, but I think it was a bigger part of her decision than you implied that Inuyasha was responding more to her since she became a hanyou. He was mesmerized by her abs. She smelled his reactions to her multiple times, but probably assumed that they were new since her change. He kissed her for the first time for a reason other that trying to save each other's lives. Add into that her demon side already views him as her mate, admittedly her demons side's feelings on the situation would be subconscious present at best, but they would be in there somewhere. He also for the first time took her side against Kikyou. With all that running around in her head how could she choose anything other than to stay hanyou if from her point to view it meant she finally had a chance to be with the man she loves? The alternative would have been to give up on him. And then he basically said that he was faking his feelings for her. Once again I can't help but point out how Kikyou like that is. I think that both Kagome and Inuyasha got over their feelings too quickly. They are both brooders. If you do go back and edit this chapter at some point I would recommend finding away to put a little more time between the argument and the coming to their senses. It was just too fast.

i love the situations that you put both kagome and inuyasha into in this chapter. it made a great opportunity to develop a storm of emotional angst. the beginning of the chapter worked best for me. more thought seemed to be put into the emotion there. i think inuyasha's change of heart was a little rushed. i can't wait to read kagome's reaction to this change, though.
