I'm sad because their child is no more, but i'm happy that Kagomne is going to return to Inuyasha...and I think it will be a painful rejoin...LITERALLY!!! Inuyasha will have one heck of a day after Kagome draws her claws out!XD Love the stoy!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! *pats head and flashes boobies* I forgive you. :* Muah! This chapter was so full of heartbreak and poignant reality. This is the entire reason why I had my Inu and Kags in Lies kickbox; it was to help them grieve TOGETHER. If you don't grieve together, then your relationship will suffer horribly from a loss like that. Great chapter!

Oh my, it felt like you read my mind! As soon as they concieved that baby, I was hoping they would lose it. I know, that's sick of me, right? xD But I only hoped for the sake of the story. They need some big wake-up slap angst in there somewhere, and it seemed like the perfect way to bring it around. I have personally been wondering lately, if Kagome could ever accidentally purify a baby she's carrying... Due to it's demonic blood. Or at least hurt it. Unpleasant food for thought. o_O Anyways, it sounds like Inuyasha's got some of that, as well. I hope our poor idiot figures out that they can't stay away from each other... I've seen fics where their 'mating bond' makes it so they literally can't. At least not 500 years apart. That would make me happy. =3 *is too lazy right now to post this on ED, as well*

You see this.. THIS is why I don't read stories until they're completed! This fic will be boggling my mind for forever, I'm telling you. While I'm glad to have found this masterpiece, I'm anguished at all the suspense and uncertainty! lol. Sorry, I'm a bit dramatic, but seriously, this fic is too good for words (as ive already told you before) As for what I see happening, I think Inuyasha may have jumped to conclusions, and the baby will in fact survive due to modern technology, and then there will be a 500 year wait until INuyasha sees her again, but for Kagome, it won't be so long. I read a review that said that would be cliche, but you are obviously a genius at adding new original twists to cliche ideas, so no matter what path this story is headed in, it will NO DOUBT be successful. Anxiously awaiting to see your name in my inbox =]

In martial arts, the ultimate goal is to practice so much that you react without thinking, move without pausing to consider what to do next. This is so because if you pause to think about what to do in a fight, you lose. Inuyasha, from his years of experience fighting and growing up in the wild has this in spades. Unfortunately, this skill doesn't translate well to relationships. Inuyasha needs to stop and think about what he is going to do. Even if he thinks it is the right thing to do, he needs to think about how it will appear to Kagome. To him he failed to protect Kagome and his unborn child and therefore he doesn't deserve to be with her. However, he needs to stop and think about how it will look to Kagome. To Kagome it will look like Inuyasha abandoned her and is angry with her because she ran into harm's way and because of her actions, lost their unborn child. Inuyasha needs to stop blaming himself because not everything in the world is his fault. And he needs to consider how his actions are perceived by others because too often his deeds, although meant to be helpful, only hurt. Overall a great chapter, but a sad one. I just wish Inuyasha could read my advice. It would spare both Inuyasha and Kagome a lot of heartache. I also like how you wrote Miroku's and Kohaku's interactions. It was nicely done. I love this fanfic! It is seriously fun to read, and I've read from chapter 1 to the end several times now, because I enjoy it so much. The plot is amazing, and the writing is surprisingly error-free compared to many others. The most recent events were definitely good to keep my attention, and I cannot wait for the next update!

When I first read the author's note at the end of the story I misinterpreted it and thought you were ending the story here. I panicked for a few seconds and then I reread it. Sad chapter but from Kagome's thoughts early in the chapter it was probably for the best that she lost the child. I know that Kagome will find a way back to Inuyasha and quickly disabuse him of his guilt and get him to see that she is better off with him then away from him. Though I am curious as to who Inuyasha plans on giving the jewel shards to with Kagome gone. I look forward to seeing what happens next and how Inuyasha keeps from making a crater the depth of the Grand Canyon from sits.

Wow...it's really been a whole year already? Man how time flies. I will admit, from Kagome's vision, this was not the outcome I had been envisioning, although I'm not really too shocked by Inuyasha's "I can't ever see her again for her own good" attitude. That's been done before, not that I'm complaining. However, I will complain if it turns out that this story actually has such a crappy ending. You said before that you were really only about halfway through with your original idea, so I can take as much angst as you can dish out, so long as it all works out in the end. Maybe now that she's hanyou, she doesn't really need the jewel to travel through the well, so she's not locked out of the past after all? Maybe Inuyasha will either come to his senses or have some sense pounded into him by other people enough that he actually returns for Kagome in a matter of say...days to weeks...as opposed to the years I've seen some people do in other stories. I was also entertaining the possibility that it'll turn out she didn't really lose the baby after all, but that can't be right because that would be something Inuyasha would be able to tell with finality…unless…fraternal twins, and only one died? Nah…I doubt that outcome, and leaving Kagome stranded in the future with a baby he didn't know about has already been done before, too. Not that anything else in this entire story has ever been done before…so kudos on having a 99.5% original story. I got to say, even though I've seen Kagome turn into a hanyou before, never before has it actually made sense in a way that I could actually believe. But any decent story has to have bits of angst here and there, tragedies to overcome, otherwise the whole thing would be a sappy chick-flick. So definitely not complaining about the angst, only…happy ending, yes? *puppy eyes*
