hehe yay Kagome is starting to get through to him. The department store theme was so cute, and so was Inuyasha's reaction to the blankets and pillows. I can't wait to read the next chapter! Keep up the awesome work! ^_^

i love the way you make the major part of the chapter about inu yasha and kagome and then add a little at the end about miroku and sango, (as long as they didnt have any interaction previously) because most people try to keep it half and half, and i hate that... i want to read a story about inu yasha and kagome... not inu yasha kagome sango and miroku... they are important characters, but side characters none the less... great chapter update soon!

Inuyasha waking up for the first time in years the way he did has got to niggle in his brain about what it might be like to wake up like that from now on...just a little incentive to get better. His physical addiction is so bad couldn't Kagome start to help him lessen that even tho he may not have discovered a good enough reason, as she puts it, to stop drinking and remain sober? I think she may underestimate her effect on him and her growing importance in his life. She really is the first person in years to show support, kindness, faith and friendship to him. Miroku and Sango treated him as more of a lost cause, I think...just hoping he'd keep together to help out in battles and caring more about his public face. Not that I'm totally blaming them...it's got to be incredibly difficult to continue watching a friend drink themselves into oblivion but I have to wonder if they ever really put themselves in his shoes? How would Sango feel if she had to kill her brother that day? Anyway, great story! Love the interaction between Inu and Kagome...hope he can find his reason soon! (or maybe Kags realizes that she IS his right reason...lol)

Excellent again. Inuyasha is definitely getting better...but the battle againse his addiction is not won yet by a long shot. He's progressing rapidly....but still has a long way to go. i look forward to reading more soon.

Hey, to start i think your story is amazing. But the real reason I'm reviewing is i just realized that at some point in your story you mention Inuyasha putting whiskey in his coffee, and that it tasted bad. Well coffee and whiskey together is called an Irish coffee, and might I say is very delicious. So what you said is quite in accurate. Just so you know, I'm not criticizing you. And other than that your story is pretty much perfect!!!! Good job!

Cute chapter! It was so cute how Inuyasha tried so hard to take of Kagome...and did a pretty good job of it. Your characterization is wonderful.

I really applaud you for making Kagome realistic in not helping him to quit drinking. It's absolutely true that almost anyone who has a problem should not quit for someone else no matter how good their intentions! She wants him to find a good reason within himself and I think he realized a bit that while he was busy doing something good for someone by his own choice (not being obligated or forced) he didn't need the alcohol to fill his day!! Having said all that I thought both chapters were charming!! I loved Inuyasha going to Miroku and Sango after the bartender's advice seemed like the crap it was to him, and in this latest chapter I really loved that he put Kagome over his pride and shame at the checkout counter!! Thanks for a great read as always and I'll be patiently waiting for more, although you never disappoint because you always review pretty frequently!! Thanks again!!!

hehe Inuyasha taking care of Kagome for a change was so cute. I love how he completely forgot about drinking too. Althought that Naraku is still looming. I can't wait to read the next chapter! Keep up the awesome work. ^_^
