Ryo has been blind about Nez for so long, he better be prepared for more than one put-down for his past behavior with other women. Each one had left a mark on her heart and it's going to take a lot of TLC for him to make up for it. Sure, he was young and dumb at the time. Like most teenagers, (and older) he discovered the opposite sex and how much 'fun' they could be, uncaring and unthinking about any repurcussions...bounding from one faceless girl to another in his immoral pursuit of pleasure. Well...now he's paying for it. "Build a house..." sure was a little premature to suggest, but Ryo isn't exatcly patient nor subtle. In his mind, their being mates is a Done Deal and despite his previous devil-may-care attitude, he's looking to the future...a future with Nezumi. But she's still wavering over being with him at all, in spite of loving him forever. She's not ready to talk about houses or picking out curtains because she's not convinced that whatever is between them is going to last, that he could love her when he never showed any kind of staying power in previous relationships. Let's face it, his track record sucks. - The flower was inspired and probably the first point in his favor...so far. -- Great read!

I'm so sorry that some mean reviews of Metamorphosis killed your enthusiasm for such a wonderful story. I wonder at some of these people I really do, but I'm glad it didn't stop you from continuing to write such wonderful fics. Hehe I love this one, ahh if only Ryo knew how much his relationship echoes that of his parents. Well in that he and Nezumi are too scared to talk about how they really feel about things. But seriously, please don't let the words of a brainless few get to you. You're stories are so wonderful, so much so that I actually wanted to draw one of your characters. Funnily enough Sierra ^-^, but now I have her drawn, I kinda want to do a piccie of her in her wedding dress. In other words, you are a wonderful writer and a great inspiration. Don't let some bad eggs, bring you down!

Oh, I am so hopeful for these two. They really are a couple of knuckleheads, but I think they make a cute couple. When is Nez gonna find out what Ryo does for a living? Is that gonna cause yet another rift in their relationship?

Sue, you da bomb. Watching Ryo fumble his way through this situation has had me in stitches. Ryo is aLOT like his dad isn't he. He eats his feet alot when he's around the one girl that matters. Watching him, his brother, sister, and Toga go through their differest situations is like watching my son and his friends put on the boxing gloves and spar in my old front yard. Forget a six pack, and a bug zapper, this is prime redneck entertainment. You have a true gift for making me laugh, and I will always thank you for it. I really love Nezumi, she's great.

I feel so bad, I mean to update at every chapter, but I keep forgetting. You are really fast at writing and because of that, I try to go to the next chapter but when there isn't one I get angry and then I feel bad and find a corner to pout in since it isn't fair to you. I loved the chapter. I was wondering hasn't Nezumi thought about pregnancy from her "one night." I know that we all know that she shouldn't be because of the moons but she doesn't know that. It would be amusing. Ryo pushing the house building thing is hilarious, it reminds me of Terri Botta's Lucky Ones, where she explains that it is sort of like an engagement ring or symbol of commitment or something. Does Ryo still have his nipple ring? I'm looking forward to more angst and especially the chapter where Nez learns about Ryo's "real job".

Sweet...but sad. This is a really hard one for me to read. As I said before, Nez does hit a bit too close to home sometimes. Still...what's so unnatural about rejecting the common ideals of femenine beauty? Ugh, stupid question right? Apparently everything.

::sigh:: That was really, really nice. I got those pleasant stomach flutters when they kissed - I just love that. :) I know that they both have a lot of issues and a lot of talking and working out to do, but this was a great, sweet first step. Yep, there's definitely hope. Ahhhh....

Thanks for a wonderfully sweet chapter. I love the plot line of this story, the whole idea of the rushed beginning and then trying to build a solid relationship later. Something completely different from the traditional woo and conquer fics yet just as tender and lovely. Thanks so much for a great story!!

about chapt 10: Beautiful absolutely beautiful. Now thats romance!!! as always only you could put simple things together like a flower and picnic and make it have such an impact. you can really feel the emotions of the two as you read it.

Great story as always and even greater updates. You are a very talented writer an I hope you will continue to be one for many more years. I just have one question though. Why do you dislike Metamorphosis so much. I mean sure people flamed you quite alot about Kagome doing something like that for her friends. But thats no reason to not like your own story. That story was great. It showed the dedication she had to her friends and how bonded their frendship was. It had a meaning to the story that was... Im at a lose for words here. But it was brilliantly done and you should not have bad feelings to one of your own acts of liteture. Just wanted to say that and I hope it makes you feel better that there are people out there who respect your stories.
