[pout] I think rabid outdid me review-wise this chapter. A block on Masakazu killing methods? I vote him being completely dipped in boiling cheese and then getting tied down by a nest of ravenously hungry rat youkai. I just realized how few Hiei/Kagome stories there really are. You'd think that it'd be ravenously popular- I mean he's similar to Sesshoumaru in many characteristics, and the Sess/Kag pairing has the an immense following. My theory? It's the height that puts people off the pairing. ...Thinking of Hiei getting so strong he breaks the manacles gives me warm fuzzies. I keep thinking... if the Reikai Tentai find him right after he found her, they'd try to arrest him. Throw in Shippou and Inu-Yasha, who'd accuse him, as they would be able to smell him on her, a scent that's strong enough they know he's been around her for a long time. ...Kurama might give him a chance to explain; I think Yusuke would, actually- he really respects Hiei. Kuwabara would assume the worst. He's not the idiot most of us pretend he is, but he's quick to jump to conclusions. So if the jewel isn't gone, and her powers are suppressed, where is it? They'd be able to sense it on her or in her. [holds head in confusion] She would need to be healed... but he wouldn't take her to Genkai's, I don't think... would he trust his sister? I'm not sure. Kagome is perhaps the one person who holds and equal- if not greater- claim to his protection.

Where, oh where, have all your other reviewers gone? Hm... you do know those words, like 'writing slump' and 'writer's block' are contagious? T_T Ah well, I have plenty of other plot ideas anyways! ^-^ Hm... I'll relent on Masakazu for now, he can just spend quality time with Hiei. ^-^

Hm... today's death... shall be... *huge pause, and in the expectant silence, Rabid stands up, looking serious as she clears her throat*... actually, I haven't thought about it at all... so, he gets a one day compensation or relief... from me. 'Cause I don't feel like killing him today... *Masakazu sinks to floor in relief, Hiei slaughters him*

Yeah, It scares me too. watch out! Hiei on the lose! heehee! I love this story! I went to Florda for a whole week and the only thing I could think of the whole time was how this story was going to turn out. Every night before bed, 'I wonder if she updated yet..' Sorry! No! I haven't gotten around to giving you his death for the last few days! T_T Ah well. You'll live. However, Masakazu won't. Not with I, RabidFangirl101 around! ^-^ Today's death shall focus on the... *closes eyes and assumed meditative position* throat. Yes, I've got some vivid fantasies going through my head right now, so I'll share one with you. Okay! He's bound on the floor, unable to move and plastered with wards, the only part of him that doesn't have anything on him is his neck. Everything else is covered in wards... thus he looks like a mummy... :D anyways! You then slit the neck at all non-vital points, and assuming he's a demon thus has a slightly higher pain capacity, you then rip open his throat and begin taking things out, while he's still alive. ^-^ Okay... blame my sudden sadistic turn on exams and such... though I am of the opinion that the scariest way to die would be the homework... and it's possible. 'till next time! ^-^

Wow...I'm a tough critic, but I must admit, you are a freaking genious. I haven't seen this sort of plot used before - quite original, and since I'm the kind of person that you could almost call twisted, I loved it. The whole thing. I don't like the sappy fics - you know, the ones where 10 out of 11 of the chapters consist of sweet nothings. With as detailed and graphic as you got with the latest chapter, I am drooling for the time when Hiei gets his sweet revenge. This is definitely a fic I will watch like a hawk for updates. Please update soon - you now have a devoted follower.

Hah! I am awake again! My muse can't knock me out for long! Anyways, something is happening betweem Ryuji and Hiei, whether the beginning of a very, short alliance, called 'Kill Masakazu' or a building of tension, I'm not sure. Hm, it seems that Kagome is all but resigned to her fate, almost as if she doesn't see any hope or light in the future... like she's given up I guess. Is it up to Hiei to save her? Will Rabid's muse knock her out again? Or will Youko remain utterly angry about that last bout with her soul?
