YAY! It's back! Well, that session was certainly interesting... Though I can't really blame Inuyasha for telling his friend's girlfriend about his friend's past, er, employment... That's really the sort of thing that a girl should know about her fiance. And that blow up at the end... I'm not even going to try to guess what that was about. But now they're going to tell Kaede... Why are the words Sodium Pentothal popping into my head? Hey, it has been used in psychiatry. Could happen. Kaede seems like the type. Speaking of Kaede, how hasn't she noticed that one of her employees hasn't been coming in for a few days? Does she only pry into her patients' lives and ignore the conduct of her employees? And bad Kagome! Encouraging Sango like that. Sure, it's just like Kagome to not point out other's shortcomings (unless it's Inuyasha), I mean what's the mental wellbeing of countless future mental patients compared to the feelings of one incompetent, unqualified, and clueless colleague?

Sigh... Why is it that all of Kagome's fun seems to involve harming animals? Not only is she a bird killer, she's now a puppy taunter. The puppy will probably be put down if nobody adopts it, and here comes Miss "I Hate All Slang And Animals" to get its hopes up of finding a home and not being euthanized. After that stunt, Kagome should never lecture anyone about bad manners ever. She completely wasted that shelter worker's time with her loitering. Though that was a nice moment later in the car. And why is she asking him why he doesn't hang out with his friends? He can't. He's locked up in a loony bin. Doesn't she realize this? See now, why wasn't Kagome on the ball like that when they were playing 20 questions? She'd probably own him (as much as you can own someone at 20 questions) now if she tried to play again. And Sango possibly becoming a good shrink someday? Ha. Wayne Szalinski couldn't get a good shrink from her. (Oh yeah, 80's movie reference)

I started off feeling a little sorry for Kikyou. Inuyasha was just HARSH in that flashback. But on the other hand, she had to have known how he'd react. She just kept picking at that particular scab, so from that perspective I have no sympathy for the pain, but he could have been less blunt. I can just see Kagome as being so anal that she wants to wipe all slang off the face of the Earth. I bet she was one of those kids in school who went around going "You can't start sentences with AND or BUT!" (even though you can) It makes me happy to think of her like that, gives her some quirks. And them fixing eachother. It sounds so... dirty. And sexy. But dirty. I seriously thought they were going to get it on from the chapter title. And more sessions with Sango? W00t as the hacker wannabes say today. So Sango doesn't like it and gets uncomfortable when people pry into her personal life. You'd think this would make her ask less uncomfortable questions, but no. She should be commited, just so she'd know what it's like. She actually asked if he was a Hanyou? Even if that was just an uncomfortable segue after realizing she was talking about the positives of Youkai exterminating to someone who's part Youkai, she just keeps showing a stunning lack of awareness of people around her. Is she so self-unaware that she doesn't realize she has this flaw that will keep her from ever helping anyone in the capacity that she wants to? And don't her bosses notice this? Do they not screen the volunteers that will be working with the crazy people? How did she get the ok? Does Kaede secretly hate the people under her care? Or is she just senile? And we get the real reason Inuyasha wouldn't touch Kikyou with a ten foot pole, and doesn't seem interested in pursuing anyone; it'd be forever. But I really don't think Kagome should be complaining about him being mean when she's threatening to starve him because she's nosy.

Ack! How'd I miss this? Anyway, the great mystery of the door is revealed and it's... a hereditary clumsiness with doors. That was unexpected. You'd think that sort of thing would make him not actively seek out the finger jamming, ear mutilating monstrosities. But he got passed that, so good on him. It gives me great amusement that Inuyasha was in an argument over sunsets and flowers that was bitter enough to help lead him to screwing over his friend. It seems that friendship was dead long before the colouring fight, they just didn't know it yet. And I now officially believe that Kagome is Kaede in disguise. There's no way anybody under the age of 90 goes to feed ducks in a pond as an afternoon of fun. (What's next, a wild night of bridge?) I don't think they've had a scene together either... Kind of like how Clark Kent and Superman are never seen together. I wonder if Kagome will think feeding them bread is fun when it swells in their bellies and they die of Avian Botulism, or when the leftover pieces decay and make Algae bloom out of control and screw over the fish. And that great feeling of dependancy she gets won't help the birds once they've gotten dependant on human handouts and starve in the winter because they can't find food for themselves. HA! Take that, sappy blah blah blah speech! And what kind of hospital are they, giving inedible food to patients... Nevermind, answered my own question... And ain't is in the dictionary. I looked it up once so my mother would stop saying that exact thing. Doesn't make it correct to use, but it does stop that particular argument cold.

so i finally caught up!! oh my gosh! i love this story soo much!! ^.^ I'm in school, majoring in psychology so this is all really interesting to me - i really enjoy reading about twisted pasts and different techinques of healing and internal monologues and defense mechanisms! it's all so awesome! and this story is so fun to read! so yay! i look forward to more but take your time - i can't complain since i haven't updated in like months haha ^.^ Great job though! - always anubis!

Oh. My. God. Sango almost seemed like she knew what she was doing. (It's just too bad she didn't think about taping her sessions so she wouldn't have to worry so much about note taking.) Did Naraku do some shape-shifting? Is the real Sango tied up in a closet somewhere? I don't buy that she would improve so much after one talk with her boss, and isn't that the sort of thing Kaede should have been doing with her anyway? If she has time to intrude on her patients' personal lives surely she can give her interns helpful advice. I mean, she could if she wasn't obviously a quack that is. And wow, does Kagome ever suck at 20 questions. She didn't really find anything out and wasted like a quarter of her questions accidentally. Inuyasha also makes it sound like he single-handedly made being a Hanyou acceptable, or at least helped in a big way. Is he exaggerating, cause if he's not... Damn, no wonder he's there. That's a lot to live up to. I mean, what can you possibly do in your life that would measure up to that? His life peaked before he hit puberty. And what he did to Menomaru... Not nearly as bad as I had imagined. (I thought he seduced the girl or something.) Not that talking shit about your friend to their girlfriend is a great thing to do, and he obviously needs to learn to take responsibility for his actions, but if THAT was enough to end the relationship, it wouldn't have lasted anyway. They would never have gotten passed living together, when they'd discover that the little flaws would become huge deals worthy of screaming matches late into the night.
