Yay! Showdown! Nice job on writing the fight scene. I especially liked it when Kagome gave one for the home team, but at a price. Dawn right Inuyasha's gonna transform after Fluffy does something like that, while knowing she's pregnant for God's sake!! No doubt about the broken ribs, and she probably has a slight concussion, but what about her baby?! Well she didn't get struck in the abdomen, so I'm sure it's okay, right? Right?! I hope I don't have to wait too long to find out. Your doing GRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!!!!

Ok girl. First, If you were not doing good you think we would still be here addicted to this story the way we are?? Waiting with anticipation for the next update?? Of course you are doing great!! And this chapter was no less amazing than any of the other ones!! I have to tell you that the fight scene was really well done!! Some writers tend to over describe or over do fights and it just ends up too clogged! But this was perfect! Not too long, not too short!! Just right!! I am glad that fluffy got the snot kicked out of him! And on top of that, that nasty mouth of his will learn to stay close for a while!! Well done Inu!! I really hope someone pulls out the frozen popsicle that he has stuck in his behind and teach him to treat his brother a little better!! How dare him hurt Kagome while knowing that she was with pup!! I am so glad Kags got him a little something to remember her with! I hope the burn stays with him for a very, very long time! *+*+*+ Speaking of Kagome: She was AWESOME!! That girl ROCKS!! To be able to prevent the miasma from getting to Inu was incredible!! I am so tired of seeing fights where Kagome only sits back and gets defended while Inuyasha does all the fighting! Most of the times she shoots an arrow or two and that's mostly it, but you went beyond expectations and made her a valuable part of the fight!! She was able to help defend herself and her mate to the best of her abilities and actually make a difference in the battle!! You are an incredible writer for that! (Brings out the pom poms and begins a cheer for White Luna) The only part that made my heart kind of constrict in pain was at the end of the chapter, when Shinsei found Inu holding an unconscious Kagome in his arms. It was so touching that I almost got tears to my eyes!! Poor Inu!! I really hope Shinsei can do something to help Kagome keep the baby alive!! (Snif, Snif!!) +*+*+* Now, I promise not to wish anything bad to you if you promise not to torture us, your loyal readers, your fans, and gives us some "sugah", some "luvin", some "sometin, sometin" and update for us without the nail biting cliffies that make us pull our hair and scream like banshees all over the house after ending the chapter in a heart stopping moment. *+*+*+ Wait... You mean to tell me I am the only reader who does that??? Well...What do you know!! Hehe!! I do need professional help! Maybe those hormones are to blame!! In any way, THANK YOU again for writing & sharing, and Thank you to KnittingKnots for being a great beta and helping you out with this fic!! (Most of the time we forget that Betas also are a part of the stories as well!) I look forward to your next update and remember to keep that self esteem way up!! I'll try to keep it less wordy this time, LOL. Wonderful job!!! Loved the fight scene, and I especially loved how you had Kagome come into her own and burn Sesshoumaru's wrist, only to marvel at herself over the realization that she had actually injured a daiyoukai. I got a kick out of him still losing his arm; some things are just destined be, no matter what the universe. Looking forward to the next update!

Heh. Love using chopped up language when asked to. No, seriously loved the scene. I like how Sesshoumaru still lost an arm and had to come to respect Kagome somewhat, just as he does in the series. There are many good K/S fics and I hope you're directed to them. AU and canon. They're not my cuppa, as the canon couple works so well for me. Of course, if its well written, I'm usually interested. I've heard good things about Tales from the House of Moon, for example.

Wow...cliff hanger indeed. Somehow, though, I suspect that Kagome will make it out of that alive. After all, if Sesshoumaru truly wanted to kill her, he would have done so. He wants Inuyasha to rush in while she is still alive, so that Inuyasha can witness his failure, so that he can witness Kagome witnessing his failure, so that she will die knowing that he was powerless to save her, etc., etc., etc. However, such desires are oft' times a villain's downfall. Inuyasha will save Kagome, or Kagome will save herself, if perhaps the jewel gives her miko powers a boost Sesshoumaru isn't expecting. One thing I picked up on that has me curious, when Sesshoumaru made his comment about Inuyasha choosing a human mate and Kagome asking "What do you mean?" I wonder...in these last two weeks, has Inuyasha truly not told Kagome about the mark yet? It wasn't mentioned, though I would suspect that if they've been so chummy with each other, it shouldn't have been anything that he would've remained hesitate to tell her about. Still, Sesshoumaru's whole attitude, and that "why am I not surprised" comment of disgust could have just as easily prompted a "What do you mean?" reaction for reasons other than Kagome not knowing of the mark. Maybe she just meant, what the hell is his problem with Inuyasha having a human mate! So either way you had intended that nuance to go, I'm eager to see what gets revealed and finalized in the next chapter. Also, in probably just another couple of weeks here, max, Kagome is going to start to realize that her little family might just go beyond herself, Inuyasha and their cats. At least the thought has already crossed her mind that if they keep on going like they have been, it's definitely a possibility. I'm sure they will make wonderful parents, though the reactions of the villagers are yet to be seen. Glad that little boy wasn't seriously hurt during the youkai attack. That would've really screwed with Kagome's head. It's like, hello! You did protect everyone! They would be dead if it weren't for you. (Though, if it weren't for Kagome having the jewel, the youkai would never have been there in the first place, but we won't remind her of that.) Update! Update! Update! LOL

Darn it woman!!! You can't just leave it there!! That is just WWWAAAAYYYY unfair!! But let's start at the beginning: If I was mated to Inuyasha (A girl can dream ne?) Kami knows that I would not leave that hut for at least a month, and THEN I would probably be just as "distracted" as Kagome was!!! >_< There is something so sexy about Inu that it just screams "DO ME!" at all times! *+*+*+ (Excuse me while I go and take ANOTHER cold shower!) *+*+*+ I am sad that Kags feels like having a child would be something to be afraid of, doesn't she know that Inuyasha will care and protect her and anyone in their little family with all his life? And she no longer can think of herself as useless! She has proven to be able to take care of herself when Inu is not around, so if you combine both strengths, NOTHING should be able to touch them! I hope that she reconsiders and sees things under a new light. *+*+*+ I have to give it to the girl, she has cojones!! To be able to walk away from an amorous Inuyasha takes guts!! (Gosh! Maybe my hormones need to be checked?) Anyway, I did expect something or someone showing up during or after her bath time. However, I never expected fluffy to be the one!! This is getting quite interesting! I am just dying to know what happens next!!! But then again, your evil ninja training has come up again and we are left at a cliffie while biting my nails down to the bone!!! HOW COULD YOU??? If you keep this up I will be forced to call upon the wrath of the Fanfiction Kamis and ask for ALL of your favorite stories to be updated and left with a gut wrenching cliffie! So be good to us and update soon before my poor fingers are left down to nubs unable to type for you!! Congratulations on 300 reviews!! Well earned and hope to see you reach 500 in no time at all!!
