I really l-i-k-e-d this chapter! I thought you did a really good character job in portraying what Kagome and InuYasha might really say to one another, when they finally admit their feelings in the manga. ("Tell me again, InuYasha." . . . I would need to hear it more than once too, after all Kagome's been through with him!) Bravo, well written! (Not to mention that I am on a fluff high. We fans do love it! It is not often we get some of this type of resolution with the Kagome and InuYasha characters.) As always, Miroku and Sango alternate between hilarious and seriousness. They always make me laugh and worry at the same time. It's weird, but it works so well. I was glad to see Sesshoumaru go after Rin. I am going to be surpised whatever he does. His stoic personality sometimes morphs into something else when she is involved and she brings out the best and worst in him. I can not imagine what is going to happen with Kikyo, Kagura, and Kohaku. (Have you ever wondered why they have so many K names in this manga? Ha!) I am sure you already know. Poor Shunsoke. The arrow in the neck had alot of shock effect. great update... glad that kagome & inuyasha had their heart-to-heart talk... they really needed it... feel bad for Shunsoke - getting shot by an arrow... will the horse live... what will inuyasha do... what will kagome do... wonder what happens next... update as soon as you can... please and thank you!

All of your chapters are 10s. Mmmmmm . . . "love" is "twisted?" Such a perfect way to say it. I totally agree. I do not know if I really want to know what happened with Rin and Kouga. The thought agitates me and my brain refuses to consider it. That was a different kind of scene with Kagome, InuYasha, and Kouga. I am not used to InuYasha being mature and leaving so he does not kill anyone, Kagome finally telling Kouga that InuYasha is a better individual, and Kouga actually listening. It was a different path for these characters to take. Rin seems to be trying to live up to what she thinks Sesshoumaru would want. Her unshakable faith IS in character. We all wish someone was that commited to us. Touching in a tragic way. The quality continues, thanks for sharing. Cynbad146

Yet another marvelous chapter! I hope there's some InuYashaxKagome fluff next chapter. ;D I liked how Kagome slapped Koga. I mean, I feel sorry for the guy but I'm glad Kagome could finally stand up to him and tell him to back off. :) And thanks for telling us what happened to Rin I was kind of curious about that. One thing that I have been wondering was, what exactly was that bite mark on Rin's neck? Was it some sort of possession mark or did Akigo mark her as his mate?

amazing story you've written. i had only time to read chapters as you wrote them as i was taking care of a terminally ill relative so i didn't get a chance to review. as i no longer have that responsibility i have a little free time on my hands i can correct that. . . angst is a difficult thing for me to read, so i'm assuming that this ends happily and i fortify myself with fluff and comedy in the interim. but i won't stop reading this unless of course it doesn't end happily and i would appreciate a warning as even fictional character death will be very traumatic for me at this time. . . this story is intriguing and captivating and i enjoy the yash/kag interactions and hopefully resolution of their relationship. your descriptions are visceral and tangible. . . ~ thank you, ginny

I'm so glad I happened to be up late enough to read your newest post! I really love this chapter mainly because it features two of my favourite (and often forgotten) characters - Rin and Kouga. I'm glad Rin has found her backbone, even if it is based on the bitterness she feels towards Sesshomaru for abandoning her. I'm just waiting for the moment they finally reunite :) Maybe Naraku will get her to attack him hmmm? That would be an ultimate twist...And Kouga...my poor wolf boy. You can't help but feel really bad for him. Hopefully he doesn't do anything stupid. Well that's enough out of me for now. Great work again as always and good luck with the new chapter!

starting out with miroku's tightly wound desperation over not being able to find sango, then going over their confrontation/battle in a flashback set the perfect emotional tone. it was a great tool to raise the reader's anxiety level and involvement in the chapter. your description of rin painted a shocking picture when compared to the innocent, happy girl she usually is. writing the first part of the chapter from miroku's point of view opened more opportunities for descriptive passages. kagome's conflicted emotions over kouga were explained perfectly. it's a relief to read the matured give-and-take between kagome and inuyasha, instead of the usual teenage angst. the reflectivity between inuyasha and kagome, and sango and miroku in their need to protect each other underscored their emotional bonds well. when miroku re-set sango's shoulder, you were so descriptive, i felt the pain. so, now what is to happen to rin? is she still back at the hut, unconscious? will the group be able to bring her back to herself? or has naraku already retrieved her? thank you for another great chapter

I loved the tender moment between InuYasha and Kagome! It made me feel sooooo happy! I feel sorry for Rin, poor girl. I wonder why it was specifically Rin and Koga who were possessed though. Anyway, another great chapter. :)

I am very happy that you did not take the tender moment between Inuyasha and Kagome and turn it into something where they got physical. Some writers always rush things and that isn't always natural. You write with realism. If they were seperated for so long and had never experienced any romantic encounters other than kissing then I don't believe they'd jump in the sack just like that! Anyway, I am really curious to know what has happened to Rin. My goodness, poor child. She is going through such hell. You didn't even touch on that but I just felt it from picture her current state and imagining what brought her there. Please go back to her. Let us know where she disappeared to after the fight with Sango and Miroku. I am not really a fan of Koga's but please don't let him die. It just seems so unfair. He truly didn't go against his word to Kagome. It was Naraku's fault. I know this is far from occuring (or atleast hope) but do something HORRIBLE to Naraku and his little minions. And to Kikyo. Such a bitch! I feel that you are showing that Kagome is stronger than Kikyo now so possible focus on that some more when they come into contact. It just seems like they will have another altercation at some point. I don't know how closely you are sticking to the manga but in that when Kikyo dies (hope I didn't spoil anything for you) Inuyasha is very tender and gentle with him. She even kind of apologizes for being such an a$$. Your Kikyo seems like she is riding this evil all the way through. I don't know where I'm going with that but I definitely look forward to the rest of your story. Brilliant. ~RM~

Forgive me if I repeat myself, but that Chapter just blew me away. It freaks me out that you can continously surprise me with unusual bits and pieces. Parts like Rin being possessed, Kagome and InuYasha having a shared tenderness but awkward humor jutting in, Miroku and Sango seriousness. I can not imagine what Sesshoumaru is going to do. Maybe, his typical ice king act with definite fissures of emotion stinging through. Hah! I hope he kicks some butt(!!!) and realizes what Rin could mean to him. I know you will make any peanut gallery idea your own with something new to boot. Love the Kagome and InuYasha relationship, but I am not sure how to react to her new found confidence and strength. I believe InuYasha compliments her weak needy side, and I believe she compliments his obnoxious rude side. As I said, just comments from the peanut gallery. I continue to love this story.
