Can you seriously kill Orihime...I mean come on. That was way insensitive. Thank you for making me hate her even more...YAY Haji...I love this man. He is so awesome. Ichigo does need to suffer...and suffer he shall. I know you have this story all planned out, so I will wait patiently until there is actually Ichigo and Rukia. Your stories never disappoint, even though this story has made me cry more than ANY story I've read. I hope you are making Orihime an insensitive pratt for a reason...hopefully Ichigo will finally get some balls and tell her off. He needs to dump her in the worst way possible and he doesn't need to be nice about it either. I mean come on...they found out her sister died and all she was worried about was the kiss she gave Ichigo. How can he want to be with a little twit like that...that is so wrong. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Bring Ichigo and Rukia together soon. Also, Please explain soon why he is with Orihime in the first place. The chapters are getting better and better. You are really a great writer...I just hate crying when I read this story. I'm going to own 49% controlling stock in Kleenex before this story is over and 51% if Ichigo and Rukia don't end up together. But that just goes to show you how great your story is. PLEASE UPDATE SOON!!!!

Can I say that I absolutely hate Orihime!!! I can't wait for Ichigo and Rukia to get together!!! Good chapter and I'm glad that the others found out about Rukia's sister. I wanted to punch Orihime with her comments though! Are you going to have Miyako in this or is Kaien going to be a possible love interest or even one sided interest? Many different possibilites. Good chapter and can't wait until the next one!!:)

Oh boy. I love what you've done with all the characters (even the minor character who hardly have any lines, when they have them, they make it count), however I do have a bone to pick with the way you've characterized Ori. Don't get me wrong, I can understand how Haji and Rukia can see her as a airheaded bimbo, but like Ichigo, at some point I'd like to see some balance of her character. She suspects that something is seriously wrong with her relationship (though she's in terrible denial if she didn't see the red flags Rukia was waving with that kiss) but it would interesting to see that what she was doing wasn't malicious at all. I mean the girl was dating a guy she likes who doesn't have the backbone to tell her he doesn't want to go out with her (and being a person who can be just as dense as this Ori, I can symapthize). Anyway, if anything this whole mess is squarely on Ichigo's shoulders, Ori just seems like an unwittingly participant who got pulled into this whole drama (of course if Ori doesn't at least apologize to Rukia about the whole thing then she deserves the bitch label). Then again, most of the story has been through Rukia's eyes, so it's kinda difficult to see it any other way. And don't get me wrong, I still think this story is a work of genius. Keep it going!

i am a bit disappointed. i was expecting more kaien action, but i am sure you will make up with the next chapter. haji is my second favorite oc. i love how he understand rukia so well. he is like the father figure she never had.after reading this story, i am no longer a orihime fan! hahaha it's sad isn't it. i wonder what she would do if she found out rukia does love ichigo! girl fight! hahah can you incorporate that into your story? haha update soon!

This story is amzing, I have read and enjoyed all your other stories, in fact it was through your stories that I developed a liking for the ichigo and rukia pairing, I love the way you explore the dynamics of their relationship, in particular with this story, which is much darker, the feelings seem more intense, not just on Rukia's side, but I wonder also what Ichigo is really feeling, what is he hiding why is he repressing his emotions around her. It seems like their is more to the story between them two and I can't wait to find out. I was so happy when Rukia stood up to Ichigo, I wonder if it will make him reflect on his actions. I think you showed a more vulnerable side to him in your latest chapter as he didn't seem to be (or atleast to me) just doing the usual use and ause, I don't know there was a desperate urgency to his visit that night; nevertheless I still think Rukia was right by rejecting him. She needs personal time. And oh my gosh, I can't believe Byakura did not tell her about her sisters death untill 2 weeks later, that was wrong. I like the role of Rukia's keeper, his paternal affection towards her,whilst attempting at the same time to maintain decorum. I look forward to the next chapter. I think it is very brave of you to tackle such a subject matter, but I'm gld you did, it makes for a unique and passionate story.

finally! rukia is now showing some backbone. and about time too! i just can't help feel sorry for her in the last few chaps. but now, well, she's finally staerting to pick her life up. just too bad that i took hisana's death to do that. so, ukitake is the one she'll seek refuge i huh? oh i think i want to see kaien.thugh i don't want her to see him when they are so far away from ichigo. i mean, well, i wanted ichigo to go through the same torment that she went through just by seeing them together. yeah, spunky and cool kaien paying the still timid rukia some very the proper attention that she needs, and of course it'll make rukia feel really good about herself, and make ichigo grit his teeth in frustration and annoyance. ^_~ anyway. good chap. and way to go rukia!

So is Kaien Rukia's cousin? Or is Uncle just an honorific term for Jyuushiro? I was glad that Ichigo said he wanted to talk or maybe I'm just being gullible. I'm assuming someone went through her things to find the note about her sister. I'm wondering if Ichigo will follow her. I hope so! I'm tired of reading of Orihime and Ichigo together so hopefully there will be some Ichiruki moments soon!!:) Great chapter and as always can't wait for the next one!!:)

I am very please how the story is turning out. I want to see Ichigo redeem himself with Rukia. I am also happy how you are handling the Kairuki situation because I feel that after all the pain Rukia doesn't need another romantic entanglement.

Damn Angsty Rukia is angsty. There's very little to dislike about this chapter. Greater imagery, great descriptions, and great display of the character's emotions. I also like more of those little hints about Ichigo and how his true feelings on the matter as well as some of the events that happened outside of Rukia's POV. However, unlike everyone else here, I'm a little weary of Kaien's 'illness' and I do not believe it bodes well for Rukia.

That was a good chapter! I have to admit now that I feel better with seeing it going somewhere. since the beginning: -Ichigo's glare for Keigo's actions -Ichigo wiping Orihime's kiss -and now his insistence for knowing what was happening... these should give us a clue about where this might go emotionally. personally I think Ichigo might have feelings for Rukia but he hates that fact for seeing her more than a sister or a good friend and eve though he desires her, he thinks that he doesn't deserve to have it, yet he has and hates everything for that. ı mean its just my mind trying to find a legitimate explanation for his behaviour, his abuse of someone that seems to be so dear for him once. I highly doubt its just a physical need behind that. I mean surely he could go and ruin some other bimbo's life rather than losing the only understanding and deadly loyal friend he had. on Rukia's side I have to say I'm happy. I mean Jyuushiro is "the" peace! I guess she need that trip not to mention meeting with new people. and I have to say that I personally don't mind Rukia developing some sort of feelings towards Kaien because god knows I want her to feel loved and cherished. that she is not just some girl that is to use. that she deserved being love because of who she is. her character is enough. Seriously I also don't mind Kaien falling for Rukia because that bastard of Ichigo was having his time while dating with the "hottest" chick in school. he should know that there are others that will always love and cherish Rukia, some people would be there for her like he used to or even more than him(for present condition) I don't want him to take Rukia for granted, like she only had Ichigo to love, to befriend and wait. She has the world and she deserves it because she has a big and warm heart(I mean your Rukia). It was just random reader bitching, I guess I didn't want to keep it in anymore.cookies for you, update soon please this 5 days gap is killing me, especially at this point. and one more thing: I guess we really do need to know Ichigo's POV.
