Poor baby. I feel sorry for the Sesshomaru and Kagome back then. They were so not confident and fearful of rejection that neither saw the attraction that, if Jakotsu's few minutes were anything to go by, was obvious if they'd only looked. Well, I'm glad you updated. This was a good chapter. I wonder how the next present timed chapter will go? Hmm... heh. very very funny. gotta love the teenaged ability to misread body language and emotional cues. I kinda know how Sess feels though. I went to my prom with my best friend and her (then) boyfriend (now) husband. Feeling like the third wheel is never fun. But Sess did that one to himself by showing up alone and being obvious about it.

Oh, Wow! An update. You must be feeling better. *hugs* I'm glad. That was a nice chapter, very angsty and it focused on my favorite character. ^_^ I love the interactions between Kagome and Jak. They get along well. I like your portrayal of him. Thanks so much for posting! Can't wait to see what's happening in the present! ^_^

Oh my goodness, the condoms joke at the end was so funny! I usually want the present chapters, but I'll be happy when the past comes around again so we can see if Sesshoumaru gets time to dance with Kagome or not at the prom! Poor guy.

ok so now i'm a little confused is the prom thing a long memory? because at last check in the story Kagome lives with the guys sorta as she was evicted from her place. Plus she knows about sesh liking her and he knows that she is interested inhim so he wouldn't be thinking she doesn't even know i exist at this point if the prom thing is a current event and not a memory just looking for some clarification

OMG!!! i am in love with this story!!! iread a couple chapters every night and i have finally finished reading wht you have written...i am enjoying this story so much i cant even tell you! i agree with you and i think the back stories just add to the depth of the characters and their personalities! i really hope your father (in law??) finds a job soon! and i will pray that your husband gets better soon, along with your sinusiitis (is that really a word?)! i think your daughter must have the best english teacher ever if you are home schooling her!! good luck with everything and i cant wait for the next installment of 'the syndrome'!!!!!
