I just caught up and what a treat the last ten chapters have been. I can't tell you how happy I am that Madison finally told V to choose, it's been a long time coming! I can't wait to see what happens and injury want to cuddle Evan silly because I know he's going to feel really guilty. Great chapters darlin' sorry I didn't catch up and comment sooner! My first thought was 'Hallelujah, they finally did it!' then Madison stepped in and brought up a very good point that could have potentially ruined all of their lives. With your oneshot spoiler, we already know what the end of the race is going to look like, but its still the 'how' that has yet to be revealed. I hope that Valerie manages to have the strength to do what is right for her without the heartbreak that similar circumstances tend to have. (On an unrelated note, I hope that your father's health improves in the meanwhile) Keep up the good work, dark |

First off, I'm sorry I couldn't write a review for "The Longest Day" because I didn't know it was uploaded until now. (I got to read three chapters at once, YAY). When I finished reading that one though, all I could think about was "FINALLY VALERIE! Now admit it when you're self-aware dammit!" Then I read "The Break" and between laughing at how much they both smelled really bad and worrying if Evan has to face some really big repercussions for missing work for four days, I kept wondering why Valerie's still playing the self-denial game and I was annoyed at her for not considering how huge Evan's caring actions were! Then, "Lust." Wow, that was intense. Talk about repressed urges. This is the first fanfic I've read of yours, and I'm VERY HAPPY that I did, so I don't know the rules about demon mating. It sounds terrible by the way that Maddy and Evan described it. At first I hated Maddy for being such a block, but then I loved her! FINALLY, someone smacks some sense into Valerie. She really needed that. Maddy's right, and Valerie should be ashamed that she's going to hurt Evan if she doesn't stop the denial and start being honest with him. I can't wait to see her made her choice, and I hope it's the right one. Looking forward to new chapters. Thank you SO much for this wonderful piece of literature! |

I know I just commented, but this chapter warrants it. She finally confessed, and I totally wasn't expecting that. I'm on edge about what will happen when she gets better. I'm afraid she'll go back to how she was before and just write off her confession as incoherent fever babble... Also, For The Longest Time was stuck in my head a few days ago and thanks to you it's back. :) |

Evan's final thought was hilarious, I really lol'd at that! Nice way to break the tension. Overall a very nice chapter. It's sucks when your SO is sick, but it feels great when you can help them feel better. ^_^ |

You update so fast I can barely review on time! I felt bad when I saw the number of reviewers dwindle. Also, I cried rivers at the very last part of the latest chapter. It was so bittersweet. And so close too! Though, I'm not sure Valerie would've understood what he mean if she had stayed awake. It's s so close to the end now... |

There are two major things that completely remove the mind-mouth filter: being drunk and being sick. And with that filter being removed, so too is the memory retainer and credibility. I just hope that she remembers at least the feeling of their confession. At least Evan's now willing to tell his (and consequently everyone they're around) secret. Its a true testament to her love for him that she called for Evan; not Marvin, not her parents, but Evan. Keep up the good work, dark |

Well now, it took the flu to get the barriers broken, and I wondering just how much she is going to remember as she recovers...and what she will ADMIT she remembers, LOL. Now that he has admitted he isn't human to her (even though she was sleeping) hopefully it will be easier to tell her when she is recovering. Some major breakthroughs in these 2 chapters. I love the way they take care of each other, and I love Mikey's consideration and bluntness. I just love this story...hopefully V will find a way to help Even mend fences with his dad. I'm still not sure why Even is at odds with Cain, though I'm positive it is over Gin...I wonder what I missed. |
